When I greet my aunt, I worry that I will see the pain in her eyes that extends past the slight curve of the lips she shows to those who greet her. After the accident, her eyes just spoke of the defeat in her mind. I was glad to notice the light return with the passing of years, but I’ll always feel a little bit guilty that I’m still here for my family to watch grow up, and my cousin isn’t.

All that really happened was someone yelled at you a little too harshly for your sheltered sense of toughness to handle and your skin peeled from the ripe sun of indigence far too early.  

I love writing but I don't do much. Recently, I've been trying to capture feelings with words but I definitely am no where near accurate in doing this. So the feelings I'm trying to convey are probably only perceivable to me personally. Also, I keep trying to cater my writing to the followers I know, because I'm an attention whore/people pleaser. So I think it would be good to stop aiming at a certain audience. But I'd love it if you read whatever I'm writing, if you'd enjoy it or get something out of it too.
