~ SEMI HIATUS ~

Matt was in no way prepared for the kiss to his neck. It caught him off guard and distracted him for a solid five seconds, before he realized that Mello was talking to him. “Of course I did. You’re my Mello.” Matt loved that little smile. He melted a little and kissed at Mello’s ear lightly.

"Matt" Mello mused while he was still kissing his ear. Though, instead of pulling away, he hugged him tightly, burying his head in his neck. "I've been thinking a lot..." he mumbled. "...I even got a headache and..." the blond laughed softly. Still he couldn't find the words to tell Matt, just how much he actually meant for him... it was as if he wanted to say it but the words just wouldn't come out. He was somehow hoping for Matt to interpret his silence, something hard, he guessed.

That was the type of hello Matt could get used to. He dropped the flowers and chocolate to the floor and lifted Mello off his feet, holding him close as he let a wide, adorable grin spread across his face. “Hey. Miss me, Mells?” He put Mello down on the table and kissed his lips gently, before lacing his fingers through the soft, perfect hair he’d missed so much. The feeling of it between his fingers rivaled the sweet taste of Mello’s lips for the one thing about the beautiful boss he’d missed most. 

Mello replied with a soft laughter through the redhead's neck and pecked a really sensual kiss on it as his hands moved to his hips. He was probably too happy to admit it, yet he couldn't help starring at Matt's eyes with that mischiveous smile of his that hadn't change through the years at all. "Did you?" of course he was a little bit more interested in hearing how much he was missed.

"Mells?" Matt had a bouquet of flowers in his arms, along with a paper bag full of all sorts of chocolates for Mello. It had been far too long, and it wasn’t fair to either of them, if he was honest. As soon as he saw Mello he was attached to him, pulling him close and tipping his chin up the slightest bit to give him a long kiss.

Mello threw his arms around Matt's neck and kissed him back eagerly, he didn't care much about the flowers or the chocolates at this point, he was too busy tasting the other's lips, so familiar, the slight taste of tobacco, it had been like that since he could remember. Right before pulling away Mello nibbled his lower lip gently and smiled "Hey"
