hello 💕 i mentioned this in another post but i have some good news which is that i will be starting an intensive outpatient program within the next few weeks. i'm cautiously optimistic about it because i need some sort of change in my way of managing just existing. i have hardly been doing that for about as long as i can remember, but it had gotten really bad in the last few months and i was looking down the barrel of potentially losing my job alongside some of the worst suicidal ideation i have experienced in a long time. so i am really hoping this will make some sort of positive progress because things as they have been are currently completely unsustainable for me.

this program will require i take an extended leave from work. the leave should be partially covered by short term disability but i will be taking a major hit to my pay, and my expenses for rent, utilities, and general debt are already $1400 per month before factoring in groceries, pet supplies, prescription refills, or transportation, not counting the cost of the program itself. i am not able to rely on family for support and have already been struggling to make ends meet while working full time.

i would really, really appreciate any assistance that folks are able to offer, whether that is sharing this post or donating. i know this is a lot to ask, especially with so many people struggling right now, but i am hoping to raise around $2500. the program lasts for a little over 2 months, and that would be enough to cover my rent for that time and a little bit extra to help disability pay cover the rest of my necessities and bills.

i haven't been super active on tumblr lately so i am sorry to pop in like this :' but i've been struggling financially again and am working on getting out of some predatory repayment cycles & getting disability accommodations at work bc i'm now at risk of losing my job if something doesn't change 🥴 had one of my worst mental spirals in nearly a year because of it a couple of weeks ago & i do think things might be on the mend but it is really tough right now.
