#it’s been really hard for me to tap into how hurt i feel right now #but i do think it’s not a super good sign that i busted out crying at SATC when one character and her partner have food poisoning together #guess it just reminded me of the time that i was sick and my ex was taking care of me (only time it happened) and i woke up feverish #and i was so confused and scared but him being there made me feel better in such a simplistic way #because nobody had taken care of me like that while i was sick since i was a little kid and i was so stricken by how safe i felt #it was like seeing him through the eyes of a child inside me who hadn’t felt safe like that in a really long time #i feel so sad for that child who was let down and abandoned again #just reaffirmed a lot of negative trauma loops for myself re: relationships and my parents #personal
