I SURELY AM!!! 💛😭🧈🧡😭🥞💛🧈😭🧡⁣ ⁣ Unlike April, I was able to add our seven boys back into my spread this month, in the form of In the Soop! I wanted to have a really calming and self-care focused spread theme this month and I haven’t actually journaled anything with In the Soop before so I thought this was the perfect theme! 🍃🌱✨ ⁣ ⁣ In the Soop is such a healing experience to watch. I loved seeing them all relax and unwind and have fun!! One of my favourite moments is when Joon talked to us about his bonsai tree, he looked so fond about his lil 6 year old tree and I’m so enchanted everytime he talks about nature! 🌱✨⁣ ⁣ Anyway, I feel like I didn’t do my best with this spread, I think I had too many elements and not enough of my own drawing and bits in it!! I feel like since I’m mostly not journaling these days, I have to relearn my style and grow it again. I wanted to keep my promise and post my April planning spreads! I kept the magical girl/pastel galaxy theme from my April monthly spread and am STILL in love with this. I’m almost reluctant to let this month go just because I feel like I’ll never get this amazing of a planning theme/layout ever again 😭😂✨ But yeah I think my planning here set up is pretty standard - we got a monthly calendar, habit trackers (mine are writing, yoga and doing skillshare for this month!) and a mood tracker where I colour in that day’s shape (a star, moon or planet for this month) with a specific colour depending on if I felt bad/okay/great that day! I wanted to take photos of a more recent look at my spreads but the lighting wasn’t good at all this week, but it’s been really interesting and satisfying to keep track of all these things! I’m trying to do a lot of work on my mental health and recognize what fuels me, so this has been really helpful. 💕✨ I think I’ll post a photo of how this spread looks filled up on my stories if you’re interested! I haven’t been posting at all really since work became my life lolol but part of being a bujo enthusiast is that you can always create spreads to improve your work life balance and get to express yourself and have fun in the process! So I thought I would share my monthly planning spreads for April, which I themed as celestial magical girl but really is everything pastel and pretty and delicious to look at!! 💗✨🍬💖💫🍬🌸💘 ⁣ ⁣ I’ve been really inspired to get back into using my bullet journal because an OOMOMO opened up literally two minutes walk from me and I’ve been inspired by all the beautiful stationery in there that I’ve only had access to in my dreams and my Instagram feed previously 😂💖 I’m just in love with that place!! The day I did this spread I retailed therapy’d myself in the shop 😂 then got bubble tea and came home to journal while re-watching my fav childhood anime, inu yasha! ✨🌱🤍 𝐵𝐸 𝓇𝑒𝓋𝒾𝑒𝓌 🤍🌱✨⠀ ⠀ This is a very late post for bts’s latest comeback hehe but here we are, my very first post of 2021! 🥳⠀ ⠀ BE was definitely not like any other comebacks 1) because it wasn’t planned in like 1768 lol and 2) it wasn’t really about bts proving their talent or skill really, but about them comforting us, and ironically that shows us more about them as a band than any other single comeback could 🤍 I think when we say this comeback saved 2020, we all really mean it. It means so much to me to have this beautiful album through this troubling time in the world and that I will have these songs to listen to when it’s over, to relive these memories and the lessons I learned. ✨ what are your fav songs from BE? I’d say mine are Blue and Grey and Stay right now 🤍✨⠀ ⠀ I went for a softer look with this spread and did an aesthetic layout for each song with words I associate with them! Because let’s be honest, me trying to “review” these songs would be like “I LOVE this song oh and I LOOOVE that song” 😂 I hope you like this format! Yes, I am finally back after a months’ long hiatus while I was working on my thesis and yes, I’m finally done my thesis!! 🎉✨💗✨💐💕 I’m so incredibly happy to be back and be an active part of this community again 💗 i hope you’ve come through this year as happily as possible! We made it here, separately but still together. 💜 What better way to break my hiatus than to show my thesis planning spread now that it’s done? Tbh I didn’t use this spread all that much hehe but it really helped me feel calm and figure out how many pages there were per chapter (that’s what all the coloured boxes are) and where to cut down! If you’re interested to know how this spread works, let me know and I’ll try and explain in further detail! ✨ This thesis took me a long time to finish, mostly because it’s on a topic I care very much about (people’s perceptions about environment and climate change, based on literature such as poetry ☺️), so this became a life project almost. It was a difficult thing to do especially in 2020, but now that it’s done I get to move into the next stage of my life. ☺️💕✨ This spread really helped to motivate myself to finish because of the pretty colours and helpful reminders I put throughout — my favourite is the little Jin sticker saying “Yah, take a break!” 😂 I of course couldn’t have made this spread without the pretty stickers by @kciart and by @mimi._journals 💐✨ I love you guys! ✨💙🌿𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙟𝙤𝙤𝙣 - 𝘿𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 🌿💙✨ ⠀ Inspired by the incredible digital art piece by Angela @apt.yaki 💕⠀ ⠀ Hellooo!! It’s been so long hasn’t it? I’ve been on a semi-hiatus for a little while, but of course I only officially posted about it on my stories a couple days ago, and here I am already with a new post 😂 typical me! ⠀ ⠀ I haven’t had time to make any spreads, but I recently saw Angela’s artwork of Joon as a garden witch and I seriously. fell. in love. I decided to try my hand to replicating it, and adding my own spin to it! I’m so happy I could do this around Joon’s birthday. He means so much to me and I hope this painting shows how much I adore his existence. 💜🌿⠀ ⠀ The painting’s story: Joon is done with another tiring interview promoting dynamite (you can tell by the biceps which one 😏) and goes to his little magical nook, where his plants thrive and his spell books come alive at his magical touch, to destress. He practices a spell that allows him to nurture all the plants in his vicinity all at once, surrounding them in a green glow. While I think Joon would love to take care of each of his plants individually, I think he would relish the efficiency of magic to take care of all his leafy children simultaneously— think back to how he made all the flowers shine in his bountinere in the florist RUN! episode and called it “a fair and just world.” He would see magic like he sees technology, a fascinating mode of convenience and expression. And he would definitely master any skill that would prevent him from spilling or breaking any of his plant pots 😂💕🌿 ⠀ ⠀ If you like this work, please check out Angela’s original piece!! 💗 𝐼𝒻 𝐼 𝒸𝓁𝑜𝓈𝑒 𝓂𝓎 𝑒𝓎𝑒𝓈, 𝐼’𝓁𝓁 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝓀 𝑜𝒻 𝑜𝓃𝓁𝓎 𝒽𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓎 𝓂𝑒𝓂𝑜𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓈...💗 ⠀ ⠀ Sooo....this spread kinda came out of nowhere 😅💕 I didn’t think I would have time to post any time soon but ive been listening to tonight by jin a lot recently and I had the idea of painting an ombré pink/navy sky for it because I see of pink sparkly twilight skies when I think of this song, and here we are 💗💙⠀ ⠀ I needed a break from work and life so I’m very happy that I committed to making this spread happen! It also really helped me get out of a sad, frustrated phase — my uncle passed away recently and I felt so overwhelmed with everything, and Jin’s music always helps me get into my feels in a healthy way and process things 💗 I hope you feel comforted by what you love doing and it helps you process your feelings too, it’s such an important part of life to slow down and not be afraid to feel sad. But I hope you like it a lot because I’m really happy with how it turned out! 🖤⠀ ⠀ I love D-2 so much. Yoongi constantly throws curve balls at us and shows his artistry in so many colours and styles, I’m constantly amazed by him. I’m in love with this particular shot in the Daechwita mv that i modelled my painting after (done by watercolour pencils, it was so much fun!!) that I just had to feature that. I live for the entire mixtape but my favs are Honsool, Daechwita, What do you think? I’m so excited to be doing a Mamamoo collab with Viktorija bc she’s such a sweetheart and so talented and we’ve been yelling about how we need more Mamamoo spreads on our tls, so we went ahead and did it ourselves 😂 since my bias is Moonbyul and hers is Solar we decided to do a bias swap using moon/sun aesthetics!
