💜 Amethyst Heart 💜 — The Heroines Through The Years
Since debuting in 1985, the Amethyst Heart series has seen many heroes assume the mantle of the titular heroine, each lending their own abilities and personality to the fight against the forces of hatred.
As the show has evolved overtime, so too has the role of Amethyst Heart herself. Here are the inheritors of the title, the abilities that they possess, and the actresses who brought them to life.

Special Ability: Force Field
The first Amethyst Heart shown onscreen, Juliet was chosen for the title after rescuing an injured bird from the forest. Carrying the power of Alpheia, the spirit of love, she worked tirelessly to uplift and defend her hometown of Valley View for the next 5 years, resolving problems in the city, and defending it from the forces of Vandron, the spirit of Hatred. Although she was eventually sidelined by an injury and forced to pass her power onto a new wielder, the knowledge she passed along in her notebook with it proved invaluable, and became a tradition upheld by all of the wielders to come after her.
Special Ability: Energy Blasts
Bursting onto the scene after inheriting her power from Juliet Olsen, Rosalie quickly established herself as a more daring and free-spirited Amethyst Heart, compared to the caution and cool-headedness of her predecessor. Being chosen after defending her friends during an attack by Vandron’s forces, she would spend the next 4 years defending Valley View from him, becoming a symbol of joy and hope for the people of the city even after she passed her power and knowledge along to the next wielder.
Actress: Matilda “Tillie” Gallagher
Special Ability: Energy Constructs
Inheriting her power from Rosalie, Daisy was the third and last Amethyst Heart of Valley View, and remembered as the greatest of the heroines to inherit Alpheia’s power. Curious and empathetic, Daisy saw the good in practically everyone and everything, even managing to empathize with and turn one of Vandron’s servants back to the side of good. Her 5-year tenure eventually culminated in a battle between her and Vandron himself, and after being cheered on by the entire city, she even managed to vanquish Vandron for a time. Although she was forced to pass on her power after the battle, she remains one of the most accomplished Amethyst Hearts in history.
Special Ability: Energy Infusion
After Daisy’s tenure, the power of Alpheia found its way to Jasmine Jennings after she rescued her sister during an earthquake, cementing her as the fourth Amethyst Heart, and the protector of the city of Lime Harbor. Imbuing her power into her loved ones, just as they had imbued their love into her, she helped to unite and empower the people of the city and steadfastly lead the charge against the returned Vandron for the next five years.
Actress: Jessica Griffith
Special Ability: Energy Blasts
The fifth Amethyst Heart and protector of the city of Bovale, Isobel was chosen after taking a stand against the neighborhood bullies when nobody else would. Bursting onto the scene and then vanishing just as quickly, her 4-year tenure would be defined by her push against both Vandron’s hateful influence and the stuffy atmosphere of her city. With her fiery personality and strong will, she is still remembered as symbol of joyful resistance against hate of the world.
Special Ability: Enhancement Calling
The Sixth Amethyst Heart, and the first protector of the city of Portvale, Ella Ward was chosen for her strong will and leadership, having saved one of her friends during a swimming trip. Drawing her abilities from the traits she admired in each of her friends, Ella stood firm against the threats posed to both the city and her loved ones by Vandron and his forces. Her tenure over the next 5 years would see her establish herself as one of the standard-bearers for the title of Amethyst Heart, as well as the new face of the show.

Special Ability: Energy Infusion
The seventh Amethyst Heart, and the second protector of Portvale, Paulina was chosen for her fiery courage and fearless initiative, having been discovered after defending her friends from the bullies of the neighborhood. Infusing her energy into others, she brought her community together to fight against the emboldened forces and growing influence of Vandron, even managing to turn one of his servants from his control. This final act would come to be the greatest achievement of her tenure.
Actress: Penelope “Poppy” Callum
Special Ability: Self Augmentation
Once a foe of Paulina’s after being corrupted to Vandron’s service, Macy Foster now fights to make amends in Portvale as the 8th and current Amethyst Heart. Determined to move beyond her past, Macy fights against the forces of Vandron, as well as her own self-doubt, to forge a new path forward for herself and the people close to her. Having worked as a hero for the last 6 years, she is currently the longest-serving Amethyst Heart in history, and a symbol of the potential for change that exists in everyone.
