Big Projects
I am currently hosting ScrubClan Daily, a Clangen blog that updates every evening with a new moon!
My biggest project ever is the Clans of the Granite Circle (which I made a short overview post for tumblr) that has 10 Clans, three Orders, and currently well over 600 characters. Most of my doodles are cats from that project. the #granite circle tag should hold everything
Elementsign / Guildlands info post. A fantasy sandbox world where I can play with sparklecats and cats made of clouds.
(Currently I'm playing around with BloodClan (no connection to canon BloodClan), another edgy sparklecat setting. I just really, really like Sparklecats. And magic. It's not an addiction, it's a hobby)
Game sideblogs!!
@brownie-gives-cats where I make free warrior cat OCs for anyone who shoots me an ask! I am ADDICTED to making characters so please indulge my obsession and stop on by.
@brownie-rates-names where I rate your warrior names on a scale 1-10. Try to get a high score!

Lilacpaw is a medium-furred cream spotted tabby molly with dark blue eyes. Her fur is a very pale ginger, the first touch of gold on a morning sunrise. Her tabby markings are only slightly darker, a faint dappling atop her pelt that runs in a wide stripe down her spine, breaking off into oblong dotted lines that run vertically down her flanks. Her dark blue eyes have lavender starbursts in the iris. Her tail is short but exceptionally fluffy, with long, feathery fur. Longer fur frames her ears and her cheeks, as well as dripping down her chest in a plume.
A calm molly, Lilacpaw isn't one to leap to conclusions or make hasty choices. She is cautious and takes her time. She is perceptive and curious, and always has plenty of questions lined up for when she has the opportunity to ask them. Lilacpaw has a deep attention to detail, which can blind her to the big picture. She tends to lose sight of a cat's motivations, overanalyzing their actions without taking into consideration the context, and so can be a poor judge of character. Lilacpaw is a good speaker and a good listener; throughout her apprenticeship she participated in council meetings as a spokescat for the Clan's youth, learning to advocate for them and their needs.
update on the clans! I remamed KindlingClan to Kindling Kin, and some others as I want to seperate a bit form the warriors world but hey it was seeing ur reaction to my worldbuilding! :)
Kin is a great alternative! -Clan does have a lot of baggage around it, and I hope that the name change allows you to play around with the groups' identities and cultures more than a Clan allows!

As someone who doesn't subscribe to religion as a whole (personally), I find me getting SkyClan VERY funny!! They sound cool, though!!!! Just . . probably not where I'd *want* to live, even if I may have been born there. Which....tracks actually.
Tbh, I'm probably half-Clan. Is there a Clan who are kinda witchy/maybe commonly a little rebellious/kinda troublemakers? Because my dad would probably be from that one lol
Fun fact! SkyClan was the first Clan I wrote up for the Granite Circle and the first to have all their modern cats described (;
SkyClan is close allies with ElmClan, who are basically the stereotypical elves of the circle; lots of cats have mixed blood between those two Clans, and moving between them is fairly common. That would probably be the most fitting backstory!
Also it's a little different being religious in the Circle, since the Aspects are 100% undeniably real. Like, SkyClan is basically protecting the spawn island of the game, where the dev console can be accessed from in-game. It's a real powerful place, even if the cats only use it to ping the mods when they need help lmao But the Aspects are the human players playing the game. They are very real.
Being non-religious in the Circle is less not believing in the Aspects, or thinking they aren't all-powerful (kinda hard to have that stance when every summer solstice, a lion made of fire flies over your head), but more thinking the Aspects are just as fallible as mortals and shouldn't be worshipped or respected. (This HAS gotten a few cats smited, by the way. But luckily most of the Aspects find it funny/cute and harmless)
Outside of that, though, I'd say SkyClan cats are defined by their confidence, selflessness, and open-mindedness. They're very ThunderClan coded--they will always fight for the underdog and are very protective of cats they call allies. They also tend to be pacifists who don't believe in fighting battles when
The way religion works here is actually perfect the more I think about it. Especially because, when it comes to my irl dad, he *does* have a religion. It's just not a major one and he doesn't seem to actually do much, if any, worship. Even though he seems to believe they *are* there.
So with the fact that the Aspects in the Circle are *undeniably real*, that can be translated pretty well, actually!!
Father's an ElmClan cat who, while he *acknowledges* the Aspects and is aware of their power, mostly kinda . . ignores them. Not maliciously, but just due to them being out of sight, out of mind for the most part. But he *is* grateful towards them for saving his life, likely on multiple occasions. (My irl dad genuinely has the belief that he was saved by the Phoenix when his house was set on fire, and he was literally being cooked in the direct middle of the blaze. Not sure if a fire has ever happened canonically in ElmClan, though, so I'm not sure how direct of a translation there could be for this in your story lol.)
Mother is a SkyClan cat who is *devout*, although mostly stays quiet about it around her kit due to trying to (begrudgingly) honor her mate's wishes. Ends up dying in the middle of her kit's apprenticeship.
Kit leaves SkyClan and joins ElmClan to be with their father.
Father eventually gets back together with an old flame of his from when he was much younger and before he met his kit's mother. Family lives happily from there...all while the now adult kit longs for a cat from yet another Clan
//continues canonizing your SI while simultaneously lore dumping//
There was a fire in ElmClan! It was kind of a big deal too, big enough that it's known as the Great Fire, and is the only time ElmClan has ever burned (outside of the fire-regenerative forests that border CinderClan in the southeast, but that's a very small part of ElmClan's territory).
It happens right after the first expansion; the Expansion opened up what is now CinderClan's land, and was the first time major fire had ever occurred in the Granite Circle since the dawn of time. The cats had no idea how to deal with it, or the injuries it brought. Cats from ElmClan (and SparkClan, who were also hit hard) fled to SkyClan for healing.
Luckily, SkyClan's healers knew how to help, because they were trained by Whistleleaf, one of the first Created cats (Created cats being spontaneously generated; ie, cats crafted by the players in the game and dropped into the simulation, usually to serve a plot purpose or to serve as player OCs, like file-editing a cat into Clangen).
Whistleleaf, being Created, was given special healing knowledge from StarClan. He wanted to share that knowledge, but the SparkClan leader wanted to keep it a SparkClan secret. He, along with his two Created littermates, Breezehawk and Heatherpetal, fled SparkClan to try and share the knowledge. They were hunted down and killed by Valleystar of SparkClan, and for a very long time, were labelled as traitors (the few Created cats in SparkClan faced discrimination after that, as most cats believed they were StarClan's agents meant to test a true warrior's loyalty).
It wasn't until the Great Fire, when SparkClan and ElmClan were saved by SkyClan using Whistleleaf's shared knowledge, that their names were redeemed by Chicorystar, who basically turned the three into martyred saints and named the three major Expansion expedition groups after them to honor them (WhistleClan, HeatherClan, and BreezeClan (which later became CinderClan)).
But yes!!! Big fire did happen! It happened quite a long time ago in terms of the present-day story (this is shortly after First Expansion. Present day is like a year off from the Third Expansion. So like... human equivalent of maybe 200 years ago?).
Also that description of spirituality, of being rather impartial to the Aspects, is how most Circle cats act. They'll typically be polite if the Aspect is literally there, and most still celebrate major holidays, but other than that... they just forget about 'em. Most don't think an Aspect will ever take personal interest in them in particular, and they'd be right.
Most cats of the Circle would treat seeing an Aspect like... spotting a state-level politician in public. Like... "oh neat, that guy technically has the say-so over my laws! Probably shouldn't piss him off" type deal. Some might try and suck up to them to garner favor, or try and sneakily talk to them about their woes so some higher-level change might be enacted.
Only Star (Aspect of SkyClan) or sometimes Sol (Aspect of SparkClan) really encourages worshipful behavior. Sol often gives boons to warriors that invoke her name during battle. Star is SUPER micromanage-y as an Aspect, so cats tend to ask them for permission a lot and they're always fiddling with the Clan (they're the kind of Clangen player that would like, manually choose mentor-apprentice pairs, and very intentionally choose patrols to grow relationships a certain way, and keep toggling individual cat's settings on and off between turns. And the SkyClan cats have to learn to just. Deal with that. In exchange for Star basically allowing them plot armor).
HeatherClan's Aspect probably also is fairly involved? I haven't really given them much thought yet tho, outside of them being an IRL friend of Sol's, who was at first glad Sol was helping them make choices and learn the game, but is annoyed now that they've learned the ropes that Sol keeps trying to give them unsolicited advice on how to run their Clan. (All the interpersonal conflicts of the Aspects/players mirror the conflicts of the Clans beneath btw!! that's like, the whole theming of the project. The challenge is to make both of them feel natural independently of each other too! Luckily, HeatherClan chafing under SparkClan's control after being a Petal for so long is also completely understandable as a motive for tensions between the two).

I'm so glad everyone has gotten a different result so far!! AHH that's super cool.
A meta fun fact for StoneClan! Originally StoneClan and CreekClan were swapped: StoneClan were the cats with RiverClan's home camp and had the blue color, while CreekClan were purple and were the ones constantly trying to take it back. I think I swapped them because I felt StoneClan felt more purple, lmao
I vividly remember being annoyed by having to swap all the colors in my notes, but I guess I felt it needed to be done?
i did the quiz, very fun. I was pretty excited to see which clan i get since there are lots and thats what i like! I even got myself a world with many clans/kingdom/tribes with cats!
anyways i got CinderClan!!!!! i really love nomad clans i even got one myself in that world i mentioned it called KindleClan! Either way i love your granite circle stuff and youâve been a great inspiration for my clans/kingdom/tribes
Yooooo! I'm always so happy to see people that have huge worldbuilding projects <3 Join the club, it's fun over here!
KindleClan is such a sick name!! Do they also migrate because of fires? =o
I love CinderClan a little too much ngl, it's def in my top 3 of the Circle Clans. I lowkey am jealous; I wish I was a CinderClan warrior. Alas, I am just a tad too much of a wimp to keep up with them heh
Oh and fun fact because everyone gets one! CinderClan was originally named BreezeClan, after Breezehawk, but after most of the original pioneers of the northern grasslands perished in a wildfire, the survivors rebranded themselves CinderClan: a promise that they'll always pick themselves up from the ashes, and a warning to any that try and conquer their fire-torn land.

Turned on Blog Profiles for all my warriors-associated sideblogs, so they'll all link back to the main blog. This includes ScrubClan-daily and my tumblrized warriorcat forum games.

It's in blog settings, just under the custom theme editor.
I think it's a new feature? At least I didn't see the option the last time I made a sideblog, and I've only recently seen people using it. It's pretty neat if you're trying to link a sideblog back to your main.
Background: A landslide caught a CliffClan patrol, burying Sheerstar, her mate, Lichendust, and her son, Rainyears, under stone along with several other warriors. The leader lost four lives, but unlike her Clanmates, she had lives to give. Sheerstar was the sole survivor.
Three moons later, Sheerstar still struggles with their loss, the helplessness that she felt, and the guilt of not being able to save them.
CW: grief, death, claustrophobia, darkness as a metaphor for death
CliffClan cats are not afraid of the dark.
That would be like a fish that feared drowning, or an eagle that was scared of heights. CliffClan warriors were made for the dark, made from the dark. Shadows ran in their blood. Each blink--that tiny snap of the abyss--felt like a homecoming.
Sheerstar was afraid.
The darkness of her den wasn't familiar. A mouth poised to swallow, one that made her paws slip on scree, panic leaping in her heart as she slid down its throat. A darkness that made her skin writhe.
A black maw.
A grave.
Whose was it this time? Her son's? Her grandson's? Her mate and kit, both ripped away by the same landslide?
Or was it her own? Four lives gone, one after another after another, trapped in the dark? A grave on top of a grave four times deep?
Sheerstar hesitated outside her den, a heavy stone rocking in her gut, darkness opened wide before her.
Tempestcrush and Birchflame turned the corner, their voices dancing down the corridor. The two warriors walked so close their whiskers twined together and their tails twitched to the same beat.
Tempestcrush noticed Sheerstar first and smiled brightly at his leader. "May StarClan light your dreams tonight, Sheerstar," the black swirled tomcat mewed, dipping his head. A half second later, Birchflame echoed the movement, though her focus never left Tempestcrush.
Young love, Sheerstar thought, finding a smile for them. An all-consuming flame. "Thank you, Tempestcrush. Birchflame. A good night to you both."
And then Sheerstar had no choice. The corridor wasn't so wide that she could easily stand aside; to let them pass, she had no option but to step into her den's lolling jaws, pushed by social custom after her willpower had met its match.
Over the threshold, Sheerstar froze, waiting for the darkness's teeth, but nothing came.
It never did.
The anticipation, the waiting, made it all that much worse.
Tempestcrush and Birchflame passed behind her, their paws soft against stone. Sheerstar's dark brown pelt would have diffused with the darkness as soon as she'd left the corridor. They couldn't have known that she was only a pawstep away, nearly shaking from the urge to flee back into the more populated centers of Kith Granite's hold.
No.
The next pawstep was the hardest, but after that, she had momentum on her side. She focused on breathing, like they taught CliffClan apprentices to do when they first learned to climb the narrow trails through the mountains. Sheerstar could hear Bearpool's steady breathing in her ear, could see her mentor's figure dimpling the shadows as the weight of Bearpool's memory distorted the fabric of the darkness into a facsimile of life.
The black-on-black silhouette comforted Sheerstar, even if she knew it was only an illusion, her eyes drawing patterns on the featureless void. But it grounded her, the scudding movement of shadows in the corner of her eyes weaving themselves into a flicking tail, a soft outline of ears, steady paws.
Sheerstar breathed deep and the darkness fled. The echo of Bearpool circled, swooped down, encased her like a warm pelt, giving her space to stretch, curl her tail over her nose, her tension seeping into stone.
And as Sheerstar closed her eyes, she welcomed that darkness, knowing tonight, at least, she would sleep.
(my mother run had jacob holding mom's knife, which carried early/mid, then esau got parasite + almond milk + loads of dmg ups and carried late (and also lagged my game to high heaven with all the splitting projectiles smh)(having guppy transform on top of all those tears Did Not Help))

Vultureshock's confidence usually does well for her, but this moon her blase attitude towards circling hawks backfires when one of them decides Vultureshock is small enough to try and catch. Luckily Zell is there to push her out of the way, and though the hawk gets its talons tangled in his fur, the massive tom is much too heavy for it to carry and it's forced to let go, flapping awkwardly away from Lizardfire's claws before the young tom can turn the tables on it.
Instead of being grateful for the save, though, Vultureshock dismisses Zell's actions, claiming that she could have easily dodged if he hadn't been in the way. Zell, his shoulders red with blood from the hawk's talons, is appalled by Vultureshock's lack of gratitude, and stalks away fuming, shoving off Lizardfire's halfhearted attempts to help.
The three-legged rogue Splinter begins to wander. At first, it was only on accident, getting caught outside ScrubClan's camp after dusk and choosing to stay put rather than try and pick his way home through sticky balls of cholla all night. But when he returned and realized he wasn't harshly punished for breaking curfew, Splinter began wandering more and more, sometimes for days at a time. Thymebush worries for him, but Splinter promises he's being safe.
One of the kittypets at the RV camp gifts him their collar, a silky white ribbon that goes excellently with Splinter's dark fur. He only rolls his eyes when Hawthornrose recoils at his accessory; it's much cooler than the silly feathers and plants the Clan cats call fashion, after all, and he knows he wears it well. At least Zell compliments him on it.
Thistlegaze is already tired of being sick, and keeps dodging Spittlebugspeck to sneak out of the healer's den, coughing all the while but determined to do something productive. So far, he's managed to renew the back side of the nursery's outer wall (he would have finished the job if Glorypounce hadn't called Spittlebugspeck over to drag him back to quarantine); repaired one of Tuftglide's snare traps (nevermind the three he broke trying to figure out how they worked); and brought prey to Snowstar (who cuffed him over the ear for treating her like an elder. Also for coughing all over the mouse. She made him eat it.)
Speaking of Glorypounce... it may take some time for Spittlebugspeck to regain her trust, but as head healer, she admits that he's doing a good job. His confidence, once hollow, is now steady as stone, and while he's just as sarcastic as usual, the cruel edge has worn down some; Glorypounce is surprised to be giggling along with his muttering rather than be disturbed by it. Cautiously, she offers to help gather herbs with him (and grandmimi Sycamorenewt), and while it's hard to understand what the healer is talking about, Glorypounce is impressed by how much he knows, and some of her discomfort begins to drain away as respect fills the gaps.
Now that she understands Spittlebugspeck a little better, looks towards him instead of away, Glorypounce begins to notice how dismissively Snowstar treats Spittlebugspeck, belittling his words but quickly agreeing with Sycamorenewt when she says the exact thing a minute later.
"Why does she treat you like that?" Glorypounce says, shocked by her leader's behavior. "You're the Clan's head healer!"
"It's nothing new, and not worth getting upset about," Spittlebugspeck scoffs. "Let Sycamorenewt deal with her mate. I have enough cats to worry about as it is."
At the Gathering...
Broomspring saw Vultureshock miss an easy catch earlier that moon, but instead of belittling her for it, the HoundClan deputy takes her aside at the Gathering and corrects a mistake in her pounce so it won't happen again. Thymebush chats with Graylingmeadow, encouraging him to talk to Glorypounce more outside Gathering times, as it's clear she misses talking to him. Tuftglide and Cricketwhisker are deep in conversation, their tails twitching in sync.
In HoundClan...
A whitecough epidemic spreads like wildfire through HoundClan, and nearly every cat is caught in the crossfire. Kuma, Duckdrop, Shrikeslash, Webworm, Ratbramble, Mousepaw and Tickpath fall ill. Graylingmeadow isn't really worried about whitecough claiming any of the cats' lives (except maybe the elders'; especially when Duckdrop is still recovering from having his tail amputated), but he does worry about the state of HoundClan's prey pile, and that cases of whitecough can easily turn into yellowcough if he isn't careful.
In BoulderClan...
Snowberrypaw's infected wound begins to fester. Lemonpaw begins to panic as her sister grows weaker and weaker; Snowberrypaw tries to encourage her, but her signature optimism only makes Lemonpaw despair even more. At least most of the other cats begin to heal, freeing up Lemonpaw's attention to focus entirely on Snowberrypaw.
