would love to see your notes on how other ppl talk 👀 the mapicc one was really informative. you’re so good at making the inner dialogues of your characters sound real and i had never considered that you would be like. using their real life vocabulary and personality to do so if that makes sense. it makes your fics feel so much more real. also, since you’re looking for fic reqs: i rewatched the “my best friend died on the unstable smp” video and i literally counted and it starts thunderstorming like three different times. and every time it stops it’s because mapicc comes into frame….oh my devious. i noticed that in “searching for 100 players who went missing” i think??? like the episode where spoke and jumper are looking for mapicc and all of the spies die from the null and mapicc shows up at the end. like throughout that episode the same thunderstorms start and stop a lot,, most notably near the end when jumper is mourning her spies. obviously thunderstorms in minecraft Don’t Do That, like they’re so rare and they don’t start/stop repeatedly. maybe you’ve talked abt this before and i just haven’t seen it but i think it’s so interesting. like obviously weird shit happens on uu all the time and it could just be the server being ~unstable~ but also i like thinking about how it might be spoke’s perception of stuff. like he literally imagines it/believes it to be raining in moments like that when mapicc is gone. the most obvious case for that theory is when the sun comes out with mapicc in frame but i think it could also be fun from a narrative/fic/Skiter Prose perspective to think about devious duo sun/rain or sun/moon-isms. imagine spoke talks to jumper or someone and is like “wow it sure is storming a lot recently” and she’s like “what? no it hasn’t.” if you want to of course,, i know you’re tapped in to lifesteal lately if your fics are any indication of that and i am too so i can’t complain. go my worms!!! this is the first time i’m tapping into lfstl so idk too much abt them but zam is my main pov,, you could do like. zam+mape sun+moon-isms if that sounds more fun. and you can add squiddo+ro and the others if you wanna do like a solar system type thing? like sun, moon, earth, stars, fucking saturn or something. idk man there’s so many worms atp dude. ugh my duos they make me sick. anyways here take my devious slop *runs away quickly*

^deadass he’s a sweetheart. What no one knows about Mapicc is that he’s the biggest hound out there so he’s intensely loyal and likes to provide and likes his teammates and is a good listener

Mapicc does not talk a lot. He is not talkative. He jokes plenty, yeah, but for nonjokes, he stays quiet unless he has something he thinks is meaningful to say
^He doesn’t argue something (unless he’s liar maxxing) unless he like really believes it.
Quick to get grumpy / upset / rage but he’s learned to cope with it so he doesnt usually lash out heavy, he just is grumpy/rude
^unless he’s in a mood or something. Then he has stone sword mentality about it but usuallly a little more logical
SPEAKING OF. He is very very logical. Ppl act like he isnt too much im here to set the record straight mapicc is SMART he is smart as fuck
logical smart and good analyzer. Hems also insanely observant he has ears where even at full volume i can barely hear what he noticed sometimes. Also insane eyesight.
Good at noticing when someone is acting different(pattern recognition) but he usually attributes it to having a secret plan or lying, instead of maybe like the person having a bad day or something.
^on that note, not very emotional talks. His Lore isnt very explicitly vulnerable.
Also good at knowing skill levels and how people fight. Well, so long as he’s fought them a few times. He acts like he cant assess skill level until he’s fought the person, but I think he’s just not confident to say. Which is fair. But he’s always drawing his own conclusions in his mind
^when he’s level headed, which he usually is, he’s very calculating. And when he’s not pissed off hella by something, he’s pretty good at telling teammates/himself that they won’t win this and it’s not worth it. But again, if he’s mad enough, he sometimes just wants revenge and doesnt care if he wins, so long as he takes the person down a peg too. Varying levels of sensibility to revenge plans depending on how blinded he is.
S7&8 he wants to have fun. Lifesteal isnt a pvp server to him. I think it’s always been like that but I can’t say that for sure
very very very genuine. He is upfront and blunt. Unless he is lying or wants to lie. He’s also kind of a trash liar on his own. He lets ro and spoke take care of that
Filler - he doesnt use it a lot bc yk he just goes quiet
“Woah” -in light moods where he’s mostly nonverbal. Little phrases too like “thats crazy” or “thats messed upp” but messed up is mostly more verbal, when he has more to say a little bit
“Mhm” -when hes neutral/upset and not talking
Sighing like a wistful dog. He does this after thinking also. When he’s thinking with facecam on he gets this kinda like focused-distant look in his eyes. Similar to his zoning out look but not 100%. #1 wistful dog
