To Detail or Not to Detail
That is the question. Sometimes I include patrols that aren't important to the plot for flavor. This has the benefit of giving the world and characters more depth, but has the drawback of making the updates longer to read (and significantly longer to produce; a written out patrol not only takes time to type, but also carries creative weight, which makes it harder for me to do many moons in one sitting).
DO NOTE that no matter the patrol results, I won't be making any major changes to the way I do my updates!! I'm writing these moons the way I want to be writing them, with the level of detail I feel is right in the moment and with the inspiration I have been gifted as I'm writing them. I simply want to gauge (however inaccurately a poll can) the value a reader gains from including these segments. A good balance of flavor and forward motion is my true goal!

Flavor patrols...
I love them and wish there were more of them
I enjoy them most when there is only one flavor patrol each moon
I'd rather have a big moon with lots of plot sandwiched between focused moons
I think long moons with big paragraphs are intimidating
I tend to skim anything that isn't highlighted and/or an image
I struggle to process long paragraph; flavor sections make it difficult to enjoy
I haven't read any of BayClan I just want to participate (:
