There are actually two versions of this piece. The difference being what's written on the post it note. On one, it says "Sometimes it helps" and on the other it says "sometimes it hurts". The idea came about when Aldo and Carol were talking about how people tend to glamorize past love and pain in art, and we looked at the art on our walls that we have made and how they sort of capture that moment in time when we were feeling whatever we were...all the highs...all the lows...and we wondered...is this a good thing? Being surrounded by such things that remind us of the past all the time...I think by the end, we had decided that...sometimes it helps, sometimes it hurts.

Some days I get hope that if a magikarp can change into something awesome, anyone can. Some days I laugh that I even can make a metaphor like that. Some days, I can stare at the clouds for hours. Some days I feel like I'm losing it all. Every day is a new day to turn it all back around.  The original started as a drawing by Carol. Aldo remembers her saying she was going to draw a monkey on a girl's back, and when he came back, the monkey was blue. Aldo was like..."why is the monkey blue?" she then showed him an image of a blue money on the internet...that's when Aldo learned of blue faced monkeys.

I feel like if cats were to ever try and take over the world, Toxoplasma Gondii would be their weapon of choice. Mostly, we just wanted to draw a cat in uniform.

Do you ever wonder if twins are just two souls who decided to team up and work together because they didn't want to exist without the other? You just did. I imagine one turns to the other and says "lets bust out of this joint!"

-Hummingbirds have very weak feet and can barely walk. They prefer to fly. -Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly both forward and backwards. -Hummingbirds can remember every flower they have been to, and how long it will take a flower to refill.
