Day 13: Sky

Look at Suzaku. Look at her. LOOK AT HER. I drew her so well, didn't I? Meanwhile Seiryuu looks kinda dopey....but I kinda chose a draw angle to draw him at and also couldn't find a good reference that showed off his full design very well.

Anyway, I figured that for today's prompt, I'd draw the 2 flying Bit Beasts flying around in the sky. I'm pretty sure Seiryuu can fly anyway. He is supposed to be a wind dragon after all. I think...and I swear I remember seeing him fly in the series. Or I'm losing my mind.

I would've liked to color this, but that would've involve drawing Seiryuu more accurately and I don't wanna. So I'm leaving just the line art instead.

This is like my 4th redesign lolol. It works as kind of both a Block Tales design and my personal au design. Maybe I'll make a design specifically for Block Tales. I dunno

Wings are made of fire, so they're kind of retractable in a way. Walking around all the time with giant ass wings wouldn't be the most convenient anyway

Who wouldn’t have been lured to their demise at the hands of Dick Grayson?

Jason Todd is a Phoenix {Egyptian Mythology}. His death has haunted the narrative for 15 years and his resurrection has continued to haunt the narrative long after. His transformation from Street Kid to Robin/Bruce Wayne’s Ward to Outlaw is similar to different rebirth’s of the mythical bird. Jason Todd may have come back from the dead angry, but he always burned bright with hope, and with it, the possibility of a fresh start, despite how his previous lifetime ended.

Tim Drake is a Fae {Celtic Mythology}. They say his eyes always hold a glimmer of mischief in them and his smile is too wide to be innocent. He’s always been too smart to be human and the way he’s been able to bend the board at Wayne Enterprises and his teammates to his will is reminiscent of glamour magic. They say never give your name to the Fae, the same rules apply to Tim. It doesn’t matter though, he’ll find out your real name eventually. He always does.
