đĽđ Got-Your-Tongue Spellâď¸đĽ
Ingredients:
A piece of paper cut into the shape of a tongue, with the targetâs name written on the underside, and your name written on top in quotations (like this: âYourNameHereâ)
Lemon Juice
Hot sauce
Instructions:
Take the tongue and put a drop of lemon juice and a small squirt of hot sauce over your name. As you do this, say out loud, âMy name is a sour flame on your tongue; every time you speak my name, it burns you.â
Roll up the tongue with the hot sauce on the inside, and then light it on fire. As it burns, repeat the incantation 3 times.
Dump the ashes somewhere away from your home, preferably in a nasty dumpster.
âđA Pretty Big Curseđâ
Made for an Asshole. A big Asshole. It worked the next day. I wanted this person to feel what they made me feel
Ingredients
âBayberry (depression)
âCayenne Pepper (anxiety)
âChili Powder (discord)
âDragons Blood (destruction)
âLemongrass (bitterness)
âTobacco (potency)
âPepper (potency)
âA black candle
âA piece of paper with their name (make sure itâs a piece of paper thats big enough to fold in on itself, kind of like an envelope)
So what you do is you take the paper and put it on something that you donât mind getting wax on. Light the candle near it. Let it burn while you work. Take each ingredient, put your intent into each one, and start covering their name with them. Make sure you let yourself feel what each ingredient means to you as you add them. Get angry. This is what itâs for.
Now you fold the edges of the paper over your ingredients like an envelope. Pour the black wax over it so itâs sealed. You can add sigils or symbols if you want, I personally didnât.
Now you dispose of it. Throw it away. Flush it down a toilet. Burn it. Do what ever you feel you need to.
Always remember to cleanse yourself before and after curses. Before, to make sure you donât have any influences other than what you want. And after, so you donât have (super bad) negative energy that can make your life hard. I had to cleanse myself deeply twice.
Happy cursing!
Not everyone believes in the threefold law...
For example I donât. So, please, friends, buddies, amigosâŚ
Stop. Sending. Me. Messages. About. It.
I went through a LOT of fucked up shit and let me tell you: my abusers never got punished. My father, a good man that also was abused as a child, got cancer and died a slow painful death. Funny how the threefold laws only seem to apply to witches that try to fight back, uh?
When Iâm punched, I will punch back, and I will curse when I have to. Sometimes my magic is glitter and bay leaves, but sometimes itâs gutter water and nails. Itâs still my magic. Itâs the same thing.
I respect people who donât curse. Itâs your right and I will NEVER question it. Weâre different and we all have rules we abide by. I trust your intellect and I trust you to make the choice thatâs best for you. It might not be the one I would have made but Iâm not in your shoes so I have no right to criticize you.
I just demand the same respect.
Iâm a grown ass adult, not a child one must scold and school. So to those wiccans that are sending me PMs and/or commenting on my post about cursing:
You can stuff your morality lessons right where the sun doesnât shine along with your condescending attitude.
Lemon Test
Have I been cursed? Only one way to find out! The lemon test, much like the lemon curse, uses a lemon to find out whether or not you have been cursed: Buy one lemon. Anoint a black slow burning candle with an oil with a scent that reminds you of the person who you believe is cursed. Cut the lemon in half and write the name of the person on a small piece of paper and place it on one half of the lemon. Lemons that are cut and left out of the refrigerator only last one day before they start to go bad. leave the lemon halves on the table next to the anointed candle that is burning. Be very concise and ask if the person has been cursed and then leave the candle to burn with the lemon next to it. When the candle burns out, if the lemon with the small piece of paper on it is significantly more âdecayedâ than the other half of the lemon. Then there is a curse. If they look the same, youâre fine. When you are done with the lemon, rub it in salt and dispose of it. This wonât get rid of the curse if there is one. Just helps with determining.

Letâs de-Christianify this, shall we? Hereâs a modified version.
May those who love me, love me;
And those who donât love meâ
May the Goddess turn their heart.
And if she doesnât turn their heart,
May she turn their ankle,
So I may know them by their limping.
Obviously you can replace âGoddessâ with a deity or force of your choosing, or you can just replace it with âthey.â Either way, we love a good rhyming jinx.

Deep cleaning your house is always a good idea, get rid of things that you donât use to make space.
I hope youâll have fun on this holiday. Let me know what you are planning to do!

The Craft (1996)
đŞHeavy-Lifting Curse Warding for the Home and SelfđŠ
Home
Spread a thick line of warding powder over your windows and door frames
Anoint a mirror with warding oil and place it in your entryway, facing the doorway if possible. If you have a back door, do it there, too.
Make a clay decoy for yourself (and people in your home, if you wish, one for each person) and place in a return-to-sender warding jar.
Have a cactus in each corner of your home, ideally planted outside but some of us live in apartments). If possible place one in north, south, east, and west positions, but if you canât then each corner is fine.
If youâre one of those people that hangs wreaths on their door, make an evil eye 𧿠wreath and hang it on your front door.
Self
Carry black tourmaline and blue kyanite with you.
Anoint a chunk of Himalayan pink salt with your warding oil and hang it from your rearview mirror.
Carry a protection/reflection sigil with you; in your pocket, in your bra, in your sock, in your wallet, whatever. Probably donât tattoo it on you though, that will bind the energy to you.
Charm your favorite perfume/cologne/body spray/deoderant (or make one yourself) and use it daily. A quick way to do this is to draw a sigil on the bottom of the container and shake it up a bit before you use it to disperse and renew the energy.
Charm a talisman to draw negative energy and intentions away from you and into itself, and carry it with you. Cleanse it regularly; weekly for normal life, at the end of a rough day, and during the full moon.
Carry a water bottle with you with lemon-infused water and drink it throughout the day. Itâs also refreshing and keeps you hydrated so itâs a win-win-win. For extra oomph infuse water with your favorite protective flavors and freeze, then add a few ice cubes to your water so the energy is fresh throughout the day.
Stay safe, friends.
𧿠Curse-Resistent Ward Powder đ§ż
Ingrediants
Salt
Egg shell powder
Cinnamon
Paper and pen
Process
Create a sigil of your choice. Iâll be using a return-to-sender sigil but you could also use a premade generic protection sigil or something. It really depends on your preference.
Draw the sigil nice and big on your paper. Use thick lines to make sure the sigil is clear and strong. As you draw it, focus on the intent you have for it. Envision your intention flowing from your hand into the ink and on to the page.
Once youâve finished the sigil and the ink has dried, burn it someplace you can collect the ashes. I have a special pail specifically for burning things.
Thoroughly mix the salt, cinnamon, and eggshell powder with the ashes of the sigil. Feel your intent flowing into the mixture and saturating it the more you mix it.
Youâre done! Use the powder as you like, for example in warding jars, or spread lines over the windows and doors of your home.
Iâm back, witchesđ§ż

Study tips for herbalists

There is a lot of herbal information online which is amazing! We are living in a beautiful time when it is becoming easier to find information on herbs. Unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation as well. My hope is that more people find good quality information and that accurate sources of herbal knowledge are more popular than websites just trying to make a quick buck off of the wellness industry. I have this post here which includes herbal websites, blogs, schools, and resources for people who need it. This post is updated a couple of times a year. Save it and subscribe to the newsletter to be notified of new herbal resources.

This website will help you to find local plants (USA only)
General tips for gathering info and getting started
Check out local plant societies to see what activities they have planned. Some of them offer free plant walks that will help you to get to know your local plants. Check Facebook and Meetup for local plant medicine groups.
Become a student member of the American Herbalists Guild if you really are an herbal student. They have tons of resources.
Start experimenting with your (safe) local weeds first. For many of you, this means pine, dandelion, plantain, violet leaf, and ground ivy. Do not buy expensive and/or at risk plants, you really do not need them.
Get your warnings and safety information from reputable books and herbalists not social media. I am thankful to have had the opportunity to learn from people who have years and years of clinical herbal experience but even if you do not have that same opportunity, you can still use discernment with where you get your information. I cannot stress this enough.
Even though social media can be a bad place to get information, it can be a very good idea to follow reputable herbalists on Facebook. I have found so many great articles and resources this way because of what they share. It is also a good way to connect with other herbalists and stay up to date with what is going on in the herb industry.
Keep a few materia medica books on hand to check for contraindications and safety instead. My go-to books for checking whether an herb is okay with me are located in the recommended books post above
Pick 1 herb a month to really focus on. Keep in mind that you can do a lot with a few herbs, some of them have dozens of uses
Learn about your herbs by tasting and using them, not just reading! Personal experience is more important than book knowledge (except when it comes to safety). If you are choosing to spend the month learning about calendula, make as many calendula based things as you can. Calendula teas, salves, lotions. What works and what doesnât? Ask other more experienced herbalists how they use calendula and see if they have recipes they are willing to share.
