Kelsey: I'm so hyped for the Ministry's annual Easter Egg Hunt. I will not be bested again this year! I /will/ take home the grand prize and if anyone gets in my way, I'm prepared to kick some serious ass.

Kelsey: Wow, that was way more vaguely threatening than I intended it. I'm sorry, I'm just really competitive.

I take your what and raise you a BECAUSE I CAN. B-99 was hard to get used to for a bit but then it grew on me. Jake and Amy have a relationship for the ages. I can only aspire to be so lucky.

A relationship for the ages you say? That may be cause enough for me to at least give it a chance. I can only take your word for something that you speak so highly of, right?

Are they really? I guess I’ve always just thought of them as freaky and not really paid any more attention than that. So no, I had no idea that they had any potential relation to Dementors  — that’s kind of cool. 

Yes, of course… you are right, again. I promise to do my best. Oh! I just meant some time to unwind and enjoy myself, and I do very much look forward to relaxing and having some fun. With you, that is. Should I plan meet you somewhere, or will you let me know when the time comes?

Aren’t you supposed to be the smart one? How is it that I’m the one ending up right all the time? Alright well relaxing and having some fun, that’s definitely something that we can do. Well how about you meet me down by the lake? Hopefully it’ll be nice enough weather. 

I really did feel out of it. Everything has just been so off. Chocolate does sound pretty fantastic but you don’t have to help me or anything. 

If you don’t want my help then don’t consider it as help, just consider it as a friend giving you some chocolate because he’s got too much and if he ate it all by himself he’d be fat. 

To be quite honest, I tried to get into that show and I just… Could never follow through. It bored me. Although I did love Parks and Rec and B-99.

WHAT. See, I’m the total opposite! I mean, I like Parks and Rec so I’ll watch that every now and then, but B-99 never caught my interest. And I loved The Office. 

I promise that I am much more clever when I’m not so… nervous. Oh! Yes, I… of course, that is fine with me. Absolutely. Sunday is perfect–I usually try to work in some leisure time on Sundays, and I would be… delighted to spend that leisure time with you.

I hope you know that there’s no need to be nervous, I’m just a person. Leisure time? What are you 80 years old? Relax and have some fun, it’ll be low-key, I promise. So Sunday it is.

You know, today has really been one of those days where I just want to crawl in bed and cry. I can’t even really explain it but today has just been such an off day. I have just been curled up in bed, wrapped up like a burrito, staring at the cieling, and wanting to cry (okay, so maybe I did cry). I hope everyone else had a better day than I did.

Oh really Courtney? I’m sorry you had such a rough day...those are the worst! Did you just feel completely out of it? Because sometimes I feel like that. But usually when I’m sick. Do you want some chocolate? That always helps me.

Yes, you all just read that properly! Leo Spinnet is officially back in the land of the unbusy! My winter and spring wardrobes have officially been swapped out for each other, my arms are especially toned, I’m definitely passing charms again and I got a bunch of really dope songs finished for my band! So the fun has finally returned! What’s everyone else been up to lately?

Welcome back, Leo! Long time no see, mate....I mean aside from seeing you in Frog Choir, I mean. But that doesn’t seem the same. Congrats on passing charms again by the way, that’s awesome! And you’ve got new songs? Question  — am I allowed to hear them? Oh and as for what I’ve been up to....I have a date, I think.

I think–Oh sweet merciful Merlin–I think my hand is twitching. Is this what a caffeine overdose looks like? It’s not my fault right? I’ve just been in hibernation for about the past month because I’ve had so much coursework and I can’t possibly be losing my mind already. That’s not supposed to happen till I’m, like, eighty or something. Yeah, definitely has to be the six shots of espresso.

This totally reminds me of that episode of the muggle show, The Office where they try all these different kinds of espresso to know what kind they should reorder and the whole places is SUPER energized til they all crash. Have you seen it? It’s so funny. You should watch it when you’re coming down from your caffeine high!

“I fell asleep in the library last night while reading a book about Lethifolds and let me tell you, I do not recommend it. At all. Not only did I have really weird creepy dreams, but I was awoken by Peeves making scary noises and hiding behind the curtains so that I almost thought it was actually a Lethifold. Then I screamed and got caught with a book from the Restricted Section so…thanks for all the detention, Peeves.”

Lethifolds?! Why would you want to be reading about those things  — they’re really freaky!

“Ew, ew, you just made my stomach so sad, I was imagining a chocolate covered meatball in tomato sauce, blech,” Becca made a face as her imagination ran away with her, and she shoved Brian playfully, too lightly to even move someone so much taller than he was. “Make sure it tastes okay before you thank me!” she laughed again, glad to have helped.

“A chocolate covered meatball in tomato sauce?? Where do you come up with things like that Becs?? That’s so gross. Never in a million years,” he shook his head, shivering at the thought. Brian opened the granola bar, taking a bite, once he swallowed he pretended to spit it out but then laughed. “Nah, it’s totally good! Thanks again!” 

Well, as you said–I am not only saying it to make you feel better. It is the truth. A… a date! I mean, yes. It is a date. That is quite a common figure of speech, after all, yes? Of course. I… am free quite a lot of the time. Is there a particular day that is best for you?

Using my own words against me? I like it. Ya Shawn, a date — a common figure of speech. As long as that’s okay with you. What’re your plans on Sunday? 

I… thank you, I think. Er–again. And… yes, that is so. I mean, I think so, yes. I… think that I would like that very much. Spending time with you, that is.

Yes, you’re welcome — again. And thank you for saying that I’m charming as well, that was nice of you to say. Really you would? Brilliant! Well then it’s a date....whenever you tell me you’re free that is.

“Elbows of steel,” she quipped in response, grateful for the fact that Brian just teased her rather than making her feel silly for even saying such a thing. He always seemed to know the right way to reply to  not make her feel small in any way. “I mean, it’s not meatballs or melon balls or chocolate, but it tastes okay! And there’s some peanut butter in it? You don’t even have to owe me or anything, the elves gave it to me when I missed lunch last week to read.”

Brian laughed at her apparent superhuman strength elbows because he absolutely couldn’t help himself. Her sense of humor was something that he loved about Becca. “Well if it’s not meatballs AND chocolate then it’s not something that I’m looking for,” he joked, that combo is definitely a no-go, “You’re the best Becca, thanks!” Brian smiled, taking the granola bar from her and opening it quickly to take a bite.

I mean if you can’t help yourself, I guess there are worse things. I can’t think of any specifics right now, but they must be out there. Like, uh, thinking Amy and Laurie made sense in Little Women when it clearly should have been Laurie and Jo. Or being glad certain characters died. Thanks, some people don’t feel the same way. I guess they probably find my “strong opinions” off-putting. And I pretty much prefer it that way.

Definitely worse things. But don’t worry about the specifics, I’m not really worried so much worried about that. Little Women? Don’t think I’ve had the pleasure of reading that one actually. Is it one I should look into? I don’t see the problem with having strong opinions, everyone’s got them, you’re just better at voicing them is all. And I think that’s what I admire about you.
