All the kinds. Definitely all the kinds. Is it weird if I tell you I love you? Does that make things weird?

Sorry?….I mean what is it like a book or story? Because I think the entire castle knows that I don’t read like ever if I can help it so that would make sense why I’ve never heard of it. Now I feel weird.

Andie poured herself some butterbeer and took a sip. “Well, I’m not doing anything in particular, I’m just staying around here and spending time with my family, and around Diagon Alley.”

“You are one of my very dearest friends, Alice, and I daresay that I would be quite lost without you,” Shawn insisted. “I look forward to telling you all about it. And I will try my very best not to worry at all–confidence is key, after all, yes? I think that I can manage to, at the very least, not make a fool of myself. Anything beyond that will purely be luck, but I imagine that luck must be on my side for any of this to have happened at all.”

A relationship for the ages you say? That may be cause enough for me to at least give it a chance. I can only take your word for something that you speak so highly of, right?

You need to believe your own lie or else no one will. If you won’t believe it you won’t be able to convince anyone that what your saying is true. Basic lying knowledge. 

Uh… I hope you mean dicky bastard in an attitude sense and not anatomical. Cos otherwise, I regret asking about this game. And what do bells have anything to do with animals? Besides cat bells.

She tossed the bit of grass she was toying with let out the breath she didn’t realize she was holding in “Am I okay? I’m not sure maybe? Possibly.” She shrugged a bit turning her gaze to the lake just watching the wind blow ripples in the water “I don’t know if I’m right about the Karma wouldn’t you get caught crossfires? I’ve just been thinking about how I used to be so cruel to other people, and the guilt from the past is eating me alive.” 

Private: No, Ali, I didn’t mean it like that – you’re not any of those bad things you just called yourself, okay? But I know I haven’t exactly been thinking about kisses or crushes or anything like that, and Jules always cared way less about romance than I did, so if you didn’t bring it up she probably just thought it wasn’t a problem. I just wanted to know if I was a good kisser or not! And I trust her the most, but it doesn’t matter anymore now, I don’t want to kiss anybody with feelings ever so I don’t need to be good at it. Ali. You don’t have to lie to me! I’m not going to tell Jules if you’re not ready to talk to her about it, but you’re just acting… fishy.

Kelsey: I'm generally not a safe person to interact with during holidays in general, you should know this thanks to Christmas at the Goldsteins.

Kelsey: But c'mon, you have to be kind of excited about the hunt.

Ali: I've learned to never talk about the Eggnog incident of, well, last year.

Damn, Churchill! The human body is not supposed to have that much caffeine. How you haven’t ended up in the Hospital Wing by now I’ll  never know. But I’m glad you’re back from hibernation. It’s been super dull around the common room with no-one get all tongue tied and flustered about everything.

“Well, I appreciate the offer, but I don’t drink. I just always feel weird about it.”

Andie grinned, “It’s okay, you can relax. I can’t write you up while we’re outside of school, and I hate doing it anyway.” 

“Perhaps I would be less nervous if I knew what we were going to be doing,” he mused. “He did mention that it would be low-key, so that should be good, yes? It seems that there should be less pressure that way. I suppose that I am just not used to all of this, but I am very much looking forward to it. I am going to try my best to just relax and enjoy spending time with him, although I fear that my nerves will get the best of me from time to time.” Shawn chuckled. “I know what you meant, Alice, it’s okay. And thank you, for all of your help and support. I truly do not know what I would do without you. Perhaps when I come back we can sit and I can tell you how things went?”

Private: Okay, but… she had a lot of other stuff going on, maybe she just didn’t want to bring it up and risk losing her best friend when she was already losing her family? There could be lots of other reasons she didn’t say anything besides ‘it didn’t mean anything’. And you didn’t say anything either! She could be thinking you’re thinking what you think she’s thinking. Nothing! Kelsey said no when I asked if we could mistletoe kiss for me to find out if I was a good kisser or not without having to ask Zac, that’s why Leo had to do it. I didn’t say you liked her, but Ali, you’re acting awfully suspicious for someone who supposedly doesn’t like her! What are you feeling right now? I wanna knooooow.
