I saw that Project Hail Mary movie all over my fyp a few days ago and now I'm hearing that the author of the book says his books are non political and all the clips I've seen is the movie filled with American flags and nasa logos..... just a reminder that nasa works with the U.S army to create weapons and those same weapons are being used to kill Iranians

For anyone who hasn't seen the quote. "I put no politics or social commentary into my stories at all. Anyone who thinks they see something like that is reading it in on their own." is such a laughable statement.
Like, yeah buddy, that's called storytelling and writing and the audience and it's been that way since the first story was ever told. It's all politics and social commentary, all the way down. To think you can exist outside the system is a lie you tell yourself to feel better.
All it does it put more politics and social commentary onto your whole story. If you really wanted to achieve your goal, you should have never spoken.
