I KNOW it's Pride Month but ahh...I needed to get some headcanons of these two out!

-Like I said in my Penelope and Pepe HCs, their chase is their love language. And like I also said in my HC page for both of them, Pepe deliberately exaggerates his movements, sayings, and gestures to make her laugh. 

-Pepe likes to whisper incredibly romantic and sweet french nothings to Penelope because not only she can understand what he’s saying, she can whisper sweet nothings right back at him.  

-Penelope's main way of showing her skunk affection is by kissing him all over (as I said in my HC, she's fond of the language of kissing). She specifically uses lipstick that she knows will leave markings but each lipstick color means a specific emotion/how she's feeling torwards Pepe.

-Whenever he's with Penelope, Pepe's stench is a lot more fragrant and sweet smelling. He leaves trails of heart shaped mist in the air when following Penelope, to the point that whenever people walk through the mist, they get a noticeable giddy feeling.

-Despite Pepe being a HEAVY shipper...he never paired Penelope with anyone, often being stumped on who she should be with. He tried Sylvester, Bugs, Claude Cat, even Lola! It took a long while for him to realize that she was always there waiting for him.

-Pepe has been teaching Penelope how to grow flowers in his garden as a bonding activity. She's honestly not the worst at it but it's clear she doesn't have Pepe's expertise. Even so, they have fun anyway.

-Pepe and Penelope also like making things side by side together. Penelope with her glass and Pepe with his vases. Penelope has ABSOLUTELY made glass vases for Pepe as gifts. He absolutely love them.

-While they DO go out, their dates are very low-key. Because Penelope's not big into crowds or social spaces, Pepe will take her on more relaxing dates where she can de-stress and just enjoy her surroundings. They especially like being in secluded parts of nature together.

-Neither of them are fond of "acting out" romantic scenes. Both prefer to go with the flow and let things happen naturally. Every surprise they'll gladly incorporate into their daily lives or dates! Sometimes, with gusto.

-Just for fun, they intensely study the different forms of love together and compare their own love and dynamic to what the so-called "experts" have to say.

-They have ABSOLUTELY pranked each other before. One of Penelope's favorite tricks is replacing Pepe's cigars with pipes that let out bubbles. And one of Pepe's favorite tricks is having Penelope's lava lamps become more akin to a disco ball.

-Penelope and Pepe have absolutely wrapped their tails around each other. Sometimes, when Penelope isn't in the mood for actual physical touch, Pepe will ask for permission to wrap his tail around hers to give her comfort. Have they gone out in public with their tails wrapped around each other? Nope....both Penelope and Pepe consider this gesture too "theirs" to ever show the public.

-Penelope and Pepe have a habit of surprising each other/offering to do things at the same time. They would ABSOLUTELY be the people that propose to each other at the exact same second.

-Being that she's such a believer in destiny, Penelope has enthusiastically talked and rambled to Pepe about the Red String of Fate. She often brings her findings and research into Pepe's own dealings with shipping others.
