Taylor Swift Donates $50K to 11-Year-Old With Cancer

No one takes care of their fans quite like Taylor Swift. 

The 25-year-old singer managed to outdo herself after learning about 11-year-old fan Naomi Oakes, who was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia on June 25. The little girl was planning to attend Swift’s August 18 concert with her best friend in Phoenix, Arizona, but plans changed after her diagnosis. Instead, she’ll be spending that time — and the 6-9 months around it — in the hospital facing aggressive treatment. 

As she preps to face the cancer head-on, she’s chosen Swift’s “Bad Blood” as her fight song. 

Naomi’s family made a video telling her story and, with the help of Taylor Nation, just two days after it was uploaded to YouTube, the “Shake It Off” singer donated $50,000 to Naomi’s GoFundMe page writing, “To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family."

In this exclusive, never-seen deleted scene from the first installment of The Hunger Games — which will be included in The Complete 4-Film Collection being released later this month — we're reminded what a diabolical dictator he really is.

Head Gamemaker Seneca Crane (Wes Bentley), he of the crazy beard, has quite the swing in his step as he visits Snow (Donald Sutherland) in his rose garden. After all, the unimaginable has happened: a girl from one of the higher-numbered districts has caught the eye of the public, and they've given her a nickname, "Girl on Fire." Crane thinks he's about to get a pat on the back. Ha!

Snow is disgusted and chides Crane for rooting for the underdog before he begins to describe his visits to Districts 10, 11, and Katniss's roost, 12.

"Lots of underdogs. Lots of coal, too. They grow crops, minerals, things we need," Snow explains. "And I think if you could see them, you would not root for them either."

And then, just to deflate Crane even further, sinister Snow adds, "I like you. Be careful."

Since you've almost definitely seen the movie already several times over, you know that was probably a warning Crane could've used. But, he didn't get it — this was a deleted scene, remember? — and we all know how that worked out for him. 

We don't know about you, but a nasty cold has been making its way around the Yahoo Celebrity staff. Epic sore throats, chills, coughing, sneezing, sniffling, the works. It's no fun at all. But this morning, we found a cure that could give Mucinex a run for its money… for a few minutes, at least.

There’s no question: Were we to attend the Oscars, at least one thing (more like one thousand things) would surely set us off and send us straight into fan geek mode. But, apparently, we’d be in great company. It goes without saying that we’re taken with the Oscars, but, until now, we hadn’t realized how taken the Oscars were with men being taken.

Over the past 25 years, 76 percent of Best Actor winners were married (one of the gents, Jeremy Irons, flew solo because his wife was out of town) and another 8 percent brought their serious girlfriends. So, given those stats, will it matter come this Sunday that Leonardo DiCaprio inevitably will have his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, on his arm?

Probably Definitely not.

Still, it’s worth pointing out that last year’s winner, Eddie Redmayne, married his longtime love, Hannah Bagshawe, just two months before picking up his statuette. Perhaps he noticed the trend?

Among those with girlfriends, Philip Seymour Hoffman was the most recent unmarried man to win the coveted prize. When he won for Capote in 2006, his plus-one was longtime love Mimi O'Donnell, whom he was with from 1999 until 2013. In 2001, Russell Crowe brought his eventual wife (and eventual ex-wife), Danielle Spencer. 

In case you were curious, Jamie Foxx was the fella that arrived with his kid on his arm. Corinne Foxx was just 10 years old when her dad won for Ray in 2005; she went on to serve as this year’s Miss Golden Globe.

Few things can bring families together quite like the shared enjoyment of a good book. So it should come as no surprise that Scarlett Johansson and her older sister, Vanessa Johansson, were two peas in a pod as they recorded a reading of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland for Audible.

Vanessa, 36, is a voice actress who's already lent her cords to dozens of audiobooks, but this time, she takes a backseat to direct her famous sister through the process. And, as you should've guessed if you've ever seen Spike Jonze's 2013 Best Original Screenplay-winning Her, Scarlett does not disappoint. In this exclusive clip, you can hear for yourself the sheer range the actress shows off while reading the classic tale.

Has the Mad Hatter ever sounded so good? The 31-year-old actress kind of blows our minds with the volume of voices she pulls. In fact, we're officially a little jealous of her 17-month-old daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac, who probably gets to hear mom tell stories like this all the time.

This week's Chicago P.D. won't be for the faint of heart.

In this exclusive first look, the Intelligence team arrives on the scene where a 9-year-old boy was executed in gang territory. Making matters worse, neighbors and possible witnesses seem hesitant to talk about what they saw during or around the shooting.

In the wise words of Burgess, "It's horrible."

According to NBC's episode description, the story gets more gruesome from here. Shortly after our favorite detectives learn that the boy's father has a record and was part of the gang, another shooting — this time nonfatal — happens in the area.

The whole case leaves the team shaken, so they do what any Chicago show would do: They come together with a bunch of firefighters and employees of the local hospital to hold a candlelight vigil for the little boy. We expect moving shots of said gathering, sad music, and ample tears falling down the faces of those of us watching at home (kind of like what's happening right now after watching the little boy's mom wail at the end of this clip).

Without fail, Every time we watch CBS's new hit Limitless, we're left with two pressing questions: What would it be like to take NZT (duh), and what the heck is up with Brian Finch's crazy sweaters?

While we can't answer the first one — it's a fictional drug, you guys! — we did manage to get to the bottom of the second by grilling wardrobe designer Sarah Mae Burton… and it's not just because actor Jake McDorman is perpetually cold. 

“Brian is a guy who's in this very serious environment within the FBI, but he isn't that, so he's decided he isn't going to dress the part and he's just going to be himself,” Burton explains in brief. “So we always look for things that have a little bit of character and life to them.”

Wearing wacky sweaters wasn’t exactly in the character description when the costume department started to prepare to shoot the pilot for Limitless. “It happened really organically,” wardrobe designer Sarah Mae Burton tells Yahoo TV. “Jake McDorman, who plays Brian, was interested in having some sort of cardigan or funky sweater in the pilot for the period where he was not on NZT. We ran out and grabbed something on sale at Urban Outfitters, and it's become this kind of iconic cardigan. … It's been kind of funny as we've moved on and keep reusing it because we only have the one. We don't have multiples of it.”

But they did have to find a second of the now infamous chevron sweater eventually. “We did an episode where the writers actually wrote in that Rebecca and Ike were wearing the sweater — which was so funny — so we were scouring eBay, and it turned out that someone in the writers room had one of these sweaters by chance, so we borrowed it from them.”

Behold, the Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply sweater that made us decide once and for all that we needed to write this story. And Burton was pretty pumped about the heavy knit number as well. “We get very excited when we find a good one. There's this American flag cardigan, and when we found it, we were like, 'Yes! Of course Brian would have this sweater.' And it's one of those things where you look at it and you're like, 'Who else really wears this? Who was this sweater actually made for?'”

We don’t always second guess who might wear such woolly wonders, perhaps because McDorman looks so darn good in all of them. “It’s incredible,” Burton says in agreement. “He can really pull them off. That's a big part of it. Not everybody can put those things on and look as cool as he does.”

Burton notes that many of Brian’s sweaters come from Tommy Hilfiger, and this bright striped number was one of the first they found following the chevron cardigan.

“This one is also Tommy Hilfiger,” Burton says. “That one we found a few months later, and, again, we were excited. Jake has such beautiful blue eyes — blue looks fabulous on him — so we knew it would be a hit.”

Episode 13, “Stop Me Before I Hug Again,” was a treasure trove of surprising sweaters, but, seeing as it saw Brian reverting a bit and referring to serial killers as Mr. Pralines & Cream and Mr. Butter Pecan, that made perfect sense. Ish. “This was an episode where we really amped up the color and the childlikeness of the sweaters,” Burton explains. “We went even further than what he normally wears because... I mean, a dinosaur's telling us the story of a crime scene.”

“I love this one,” Burton says of Brian’s arrow-covered number in Episode 13. “It's Paul Smith — it's one of the ones from a higher-end designer that we picked up in a department store. It's not a cardigan, so we're moving into one of Brian's newer things, and it's a little bit of a thinner weight but it still has the fun and character that make it him.”

“It’s a challenge in and of itself: Can we find a sweater that is actually too crazy for Brian?” After seeing this mountain-covered sweater from H&M (also from Episode 13), we think not.

What does Brian wear to meet with a zoologist? A sweatshirt with an elephant on it, obvi.

“When we got picked up and started doing costume fittings, Jake came in... and he wanted to maintain a little bit of the person that Brian was before he became Brian on NZT, someone who lives in Williamsburg and shops at thrift stores and has this sort of collection of interesting things. The sweaters have become an essential part of that,” Burton says.

If you think this grey striped sweater seems a little subtle for Brian, that’s intentional. “He is smart enough that he wouldn't wear his craziest sweaters to a meeting with the heads of the FBI unless he's trying to point out that he isn't one of them. There's certainly a range of the patterns and colors and how wild they really are,” Burton says.

This was clearly another gray day at the office for Brian.

Sports Illustrated has officially turned a new page, not only releasing a trio of covers for its 2016 Swimsuit Issue, but highlighting three beautiful women of varying body types.

Ashley Graham, Ronda Rousey, and Hailey Clauson each have their own individual — and completely gorgeous — cover.

"The three covers of Hailey, Ronda and Ashley celebrate the new SI Swimsuit," the magazine's assistant managing editor, MJ Day, said. "All three women are beautiful, sexy, and strong. Beauty is not cookie cutter. Beauty is not 'one size fits all.' Beauty is all around us and that became especially obvious to me while shooting and editing this year's issue."

MMA star Rousey's appearance in the magazine was expected; an image from her photo shoot was leaked in January and gained quite a bit of buzz. After all, the 29-year-old was wearing nothing but body paint made to look like a one-piece swimsuit.

Skier Lindsey Vonn and professional tennis player Caroline Wozniacki also did a body paint photo shoot for the issue, withstanding approximately 14 hours of painting before ever posing for a pic.

"She's a Phoenix, as fiery and beautiful as any mythical creature ever depicted," Day said of Rousey.

Clauson, 20, knows a little something about that; the high-fashion model appeared in the 2015 issue wearing a teeny red, white, and blue painted-on bikini. Day described her as "the definition of a modern bombshell."

Graham, 28, is also featured in an ad campaign in the magazine revealed earlier this month. The plus-size model (who prefers to be called "curvy sexalicious") is a rookie this year.

"Ashley commands your attention in her photographs," Day explained. "She owns her sexiness in a way that every woman should. Her confidence is contagious."

It's just the beginning of the zombie apocalypse on Fear the Walking Dead… and this is just the beginning of kickass Fear the Walking Dead merch.

On Thursday, McFarlane Toys, the people behind the popular Walking Dead construction sets and action figures, announced on Yahoo TV that they'd be continuing their collaboration with AMC and creating collectible action figures for the spinoff show. And, today, we've got a sneak peek at the first character in the line, which is part of McFarlane's new 2016 Collector Box Program.

The Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) action figure stands seven inches tall and features screen-accurate accessories and weapons. He looks pretty handsome, too, with his leather jacket and I'll-protect-my-family-no-matter-what angry face. Plus, he has 15 points of articulation so fans can recreate pretty much any scene they want.
