A book crystallized in the ocean
One of my familiars❣️🔮😺
“Feel The Pain You’ve Caused Me” Curse
Sorta, loosely based off the concept of the “Injury Transference” ability from AHS: Coven. It’s a curse to send back pain that a person has caused you, a get even sort of deal. I would recommend this for an abuser who refuses to admit they’ve wronged you and/or still continue to hurt you.
What You’ll Need
A poppet of the target
Bindweed
Bloodroot powder
Chicory
New moon water
Paper
Pen
Black candle
Red sewing thread
Sewing needle
What To Do
Light your black candle and start to write down on the paper everything they’ve done to hurt you.
Take your candle and (carefully) drip the black wax on the edges of the paper.
Fold your paper into a small square as much as you can.
Open your poppet and stuff the bloodroot powder, chicory, and the paper with the wrongs written on it inside it, then after you put enough in sew it back together with the red thread.
Take your bindweed and start wrapping it around the poppet while saying/thinking “Every wrong you’ve done me comes back to you. Feel what I’ve felt, feel the pain you’ve caused me.” as many times as you wish.
Take your poppet wrapped in bindweed and “drown it” in the moon water while saying/thinking “While you feel my pain you will drown in your guilt.”
Once the ritual is complete blow out your candle and put that poppet in a place where it won’t see the light of day.
To break the curse take it out of the dark place, unwrap the bindweed, take out the chicory, and soak it in sun water.

Witchcraft: Some Basic Terms to Know
ENERGY MANIPULATION:
GROUNDING— To ground is an exercise that is used to clear and release excess energy, as well as to renew the energies within oneself and clear out the old. Traditionally done by envisioning roots stretching out from oneself into the ground, like a tree, and connecting through them to the earth. However, it can be done with simple visualization, and does not need to include nature, as long as the cycling of energy is completed. Various techniques will be mentioned later.
CENTERING— Usually done after grounding. To center oneself is to organize and become aware of the energies within you, and overall be magically aware.
CLEANSE— To remove negative or unwanted energies, spirits, and imprints from an object or a space. There are a number of simple rituals and actions that are done to cleanse. This is often done to rid an object of past memories or uses, to make it spiritually new.
CHARGE— To infuse an object with personal or external power/energies/intent. There are vast many methods that can be used to charge an object, water, or crystal.
VISUALIZE— Similar to imagining, the intended conjuring of images in one’s mind that are accompanied by energy, and used to help conduct one’s intent.
INTENT— Your goal, or purpose behind casting a spell. The emotions and power within you that power the spell and bring about the effect of the spell.
BEWITCHED OBJECTS
CHARM— Any object that is worn or used that is meant to have magical effects on the holder/user.
AMULET— Usually a natural object, worn to ward off illness, evil, and possession. Often crystal-based, for protection.
TALISMAN— Typically gives power to the wearer, often a crafted object that has gone through a consecration ceremony.
MISC.
SABBAT—Witch festivals/holidays, based off the changing of the seasons and equinoxes. Wiccan influenced, celebration is not mandatory.
ESBAT— Full moon celebrations.
☆What to put in your Book Of Shadows!☆
(This post is inspired by a baby witch in our Coven @andtrickfucker)
Starting as up as a witch can often be overwhelming and confusing. We’ve all been there when we sit with our grimoire, a pen out as we stare down at an empty piece of paper, a small (hypothetical) tear rolling down our face as we attempt to write something down, only to discover that we have no idea what to do and where to start. As two witches who have most definitely struggled with this before we decided that it would be very important for us to make a list to help you all out!
Firstly, we’d start out with the very basics of witchcraft!
(Obviously according to whatever craft you do but lets just assume the general craft for now and work with what we’ve got.)
☆ Ask yourself what path you follow, what sort of craft do you practice? Is there anything specific you what to jot down about your craft? If so, note it at the start of your grimoire! It could be super helpful to you in the future. ☆ If you’re not an atheistic witch then you can also mention what deities you worship and those in their pantheon (unless you’re an animistic witch!) ☆ You could write about the elements and moon cycles, as some witches find this to be very important to them! ☆ Do you have some crystals that are your favourite to work with? Write them down, and what you use them for! (We have some information about this here!) ☆ You can even write down how to charge and cleanse them and even how you intended to use them in spells! ☆ Do you use a lot of herbs and plants? Write them down too! If you’re fairly arty like us don’t be afraid to do a little sketch of whatever you’re writing! ☆ Like crystals, you could write down when or how to use them. It doesn’t have to be detailed or complex, just do it in a way that you’ll remember or understand! ☆ Candles are often important too, so (even if you’re not particularly interested in candle magic) it might be helpful to have them in there as well. If you write their correspondences down too, it’ll save you a bunch of time looking through the internet for their meaning, trust me.
Do you practice divination and spirit work?
☆Tarot references can be helpful, especially if you don’t have a book to learn or work from! You could even write down the results of your tarot readings, keeping a note of exactly what you’ve been pulling and how you’ve been doing reading wise!(You might wanna ask for permission if you’re going to write about readings you’ve done on others though!) ☆ How to use a crystal ball, if you have one! ☆ How to sense auras and what they mean. ☆ If you use rune stones it might be helpful for you to write down their names and meanings!(Wilde uses runes a lot and had to do this because she gets confused and forgets the meanings of runes almost 24/7) Again, if you want, you can write about the outcomes of your readings. ☆ How to use a pendulum.
Spell work
☆ An inventory of different salts, herbs and crystals; branching away from your most used and favourites! you never know, one might catch your eye! ☆ Different types of spells (clearly)! We find it helps if you split them up categorically but if you don’t want to then don’t do it! Write down your hexes, curses, charms and your run of the mill spells, especially ones that you’ve written yourself!
Miscellaneous
☆ How to make sigils and the sigils themselves! ☆ If you use other peoples sigils write them down with there meanings too, that way you don’t forget or you don’t use a sigil that you wanted to work with later on! ☆ Notes on how you feel or your specific emotions. This is important because emotions can obviously influence and change the way spells and sigils work! ☆ Do you use astrology? Write down the zodiac signs and their correspondences, along with the stars, the planets and everything in between! ☆ How to meditate and the benefits of meditation. ☆ Types of salts and their purposes. ☆ How to make different types of oils. ☆ How to make different types of waters! ☆ How to make your own candles. ☆ How to make your own salves! ☆ A magical cookbook!
Remember! Your grimoire doesn’t have to look perfect (Quinn’s is an absolute state) As long as it holds the information you need and as long as you can read it that’s the only thing that matters!
As suggested by @maikawethiel make a digital version to keep with you at all times! You can do this via word online, google documents or even evernote which you can then download onto a portable device! This can be handy for emergancy situations too!
I know this isn’t everything you could possibly put in your grimoire however feel free to reblog and add to it!! Blessed be! -Wilde and Quinn

Mindfulness Meditation 101
There are tons of benefits to practicing mindfulness meditation. It’s a scientifically proven method to increase personal happiness, empathy towards others, greater cognitive ability, and significantly less stress/anxiety levels. As if that weren’t enough, it’s great for your posture too!
This is a super simple practice that you can do practically anywhere and for any length of time. Great for modern witches on the go to bring some real magic to your day!
How: 1. Sit down- find a place that won’t distract you and get into position. You can sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor, cross legged on the ground, or whatever is comfortable for you. Straighten your spine, imagine the top of your head being pulled by a string towards the sky.
2. Breathe- Focus your attention on your breath. Doesn’t matter how you do it (in and out through the nose or the mouth or any combination therein). Clean air going in, stagnant/negative air leaving the body taking with it all your stress and anxiety.
3. Manage the Mind- At some point your mind will start to wander. Don’t beat yourself up about it, it’s normal. Acknowledge the thought then let it pass returning your attention to the breath. Imagine you are a pedestrian watching the highway of your thoughts stream by. A passive onlooker, aware but not engaged.
This is a really simple and easy way to begin gaining control of your thoughts (a basic skill for practicing magic) and feeling refreshed and able to take on anything!
Remember: Magic takes practice!

☾ What is moonsalt? ☽
I knew moonsalt since I was a little kid, and I had no idea that it was witchcraft. thing. Basically moonsalt = salt+ash+oil. Of course you can add wahtever you want to this is just a base.
☾ What i need to make it? ☽
★ 1 or 2 teaspoons of salt (normal or sea salt, I prefer normal)
★ piece of paper and a pen
★ some oil (I use lavender oil)
Write a sigil on the paper. I mostly use protection or balance sigil. Then burn the paper (be carefull!)
Mix ash, salt and oil and keep it safe in a tiny bottle. You can carry your moonsalt in your bag for protection or keep it in your house for balance.
☾ Why moonsalt? ☽
I was a kid when I called it like that, probably because of its colour.
☾ Moonsalt will help you to keep balance in your life and its really simple to do even for baby witches ☽
Blakes Element salts
Hello there! Salt - the Witches best friend. There is black salt, purple salt, pink Himalayan salt etc etc.. I’m quite sure that there are posts similar to this floating around, but I wanted to share my element salts.
Of course you can change every ingredient and exchange it with another one, but for me these were available and not really expensive. Most of the ingredients are already in your kitchen or easy to access.
🔥 Fire salt Ingredients: cinnamon, chilli, coffee + red food dye Charge with sunlight
💧 Water salt Ingredients: leafes from a growing bush, rosemary, moss + blue food dye Charge with moonlight
🌳 Earth salt Ingredients: nuts, cacao, oats + brown food dye Charge with moonlight
🌪 Air salt Ingredients: tangerine, peppermint, lavender + yellow food dye Charge with sunlight
What´s the use of element salts? Well, I use them for almost everything. For spell jars you maybe associate with a special element (e.g air for creativity), small altar jars that are supposed to represent each element or even if you want to cast a circle. If you use them, feel free to tag me in your posts! I´d love to know what you did with them or what ideas you have. Have a lovely and blessed day!
Poem for Sabbats
Samhain begins the witches’ new year, and now Winter soon is here; the leaves fall, the harvest is done, so call your ancestors and let’s have some fun.
Yule is the longest night, and signals the return of light. Everything is newly remade, and we wait for darkness to fade.
Imbolc we clean, cleanse and prepare for what the Spring may come to bear. Light the candles, light the fire, and build in yourself what does inspire.
Ostara comes and Spring growth arrives, and all the Earth is truly alive. Winter is over and in it’s stead we bless our homes and our covensteads.
Beltane, the fine May eve, we thank our gods for fertility. Bless the growing harvest and romance as we eat, drink, sing, and dance.
Litha is the longest day, the sun at it’s brightest but soon will fade. The Earth’s bounty is at it’s top, and abundance aids our spells nonstop.
Lughnasadh, Lammas, both names are fine, herald the advent of harvest time. When fear and uncertainty are about, we ward our homes and both in and out.
Mabon is a balance of seasons, where darkness and light remain within reason. The last harvest is called and the Summer is done, we give our thanks and farewell the sun.
As every cycle begins once again, the wheel spins ‘round and we greet grandly Samhain.
Requested by @fish-egs. Thank you! :)

Incantation for lost items 📍
Keeper of what disappears,
I call to thee to ease my fears.
It holds my mind,
consumes my thoughts,
so guide me to what i have lost.“
