With her marriage to Sehzade Suleiman she united Kurdish states with the growing Ottoman empire providing protections for her people and rising through the ranks as the new sultans most beloved woman and most trusted advisor.

Sahnisa spent her youth in the battlefield and the years leading up to her marriage in the Ottoman courts of Topkapi palace and Manisa palace where she was observed by Sultan Selim who deemed her worthy of marriage to his eldest son, Sehzade Suleman had already fallen for her much to the distain of his mother, Hafsa Sultan and new concubine, Mahidevran Hatun.
