With regard to my personal taste, there is absolutely no difference between the romance of receiving bones/preserved specimen, and the romance of receiving my favorite flowers. Those two gestures are the same.

That being said, I do understand (to a degree) that this is not the standard opinion, and that even when it's my beautiful, wonderful, EXCEEDINGLY strange girlfriend, I probably out-freak her when it comes to science and dead things.

I was trying to figure out the logistics of putting two mummified frogs in resin to make a pair of earrings for her, and had to stop myself to consider that this is 'probably one of those gifts that should be asked about prior to proceeding'. Maybe not polite cold-send material...

Look, I know idolizing mamdani is bad. However;

My gods he's such good prime material for a D&D character. He has a trademark outfit like a D&D character. He has all the whimsy and joy even if it's performative of a character who keeps getting Nat 20s much to the DM's chagrin. He's that bard-class character that people sometimes play where the goal isn't to *seduce* your way into things, it's to *socialize*. He's the guy dragging the party away from the main quest to fix a dragon's cave or something and the dragon ends up giving the party 700 gp per player. He has the vibes of a paladin whose backstory includes saving an orphanage of children.

He's so. Prime D&D character build. Multiclass bard-paladin. Charisma stats literally through the roof. Never seen without his suit and people think it's part of his skin. DM tries to get him to wear something fancy for a ball or something and he literally just clips a gold cape on the back of his jacket and calls it a day. Party makes it through because the charisma is again, through the roof. Charms the hosts while the party rogue lifts a pocket watch from them. Charms the villains into standing still while the wizard prepares fireball. Do you see the vision??
