Rn we're mostly worried about a heat wave that's gonna hit at the end of the week. Temps up to 100°, which is so high for PA and the ac won't be available.

Last week we were on a little road trip, listening to Hozier. (I'm sure you're shocked) The song Who We Are came on, and about halfway through the kid softly declares that not only is it one of her favorite Hozier songs, it's one of her favorites overall. She's 15 1/2 so these kinds of revelations feel like unexpected jackpot winnings, as a parent. She's skiddish when questioned , so I just let the statement hover, and acknowledged with an affirming noise.

I was thinking about it today while ,again, listening to Hozier. I listened to the song again, and tried to hear what it might be saying to someone her age. It's powerful how music can speak across time and age. I'm lucky to share time and space with this kid. She's a wonder.
