I recently learnt that executive dysfunction can be broken down into two main categories: anxiety that your attempt won't be satisfactory, or confusion about where to start or how to break it down into steps. As much as we feel bad about it, it's extremely important to remember that it is NOT laziness and we in fact shouldn't feel bad.

This is a manipulation tactic that men use to make it such a pain in the ass to set a boundary with them that you don’t attempt it again

When people say things like “fine I’ll just never speak again,” tell them “Sounds like a plan” and move on. You don’t have to cater to them. If they want to act like that, then they can absolutely proceed to shut up until they learn some manners.

May we all take men’s pithy insulting words and turn them into a sword of flames.
