One photographer working with Till and Rammstein who simply cannot be left unmentioned is Matthias Matthies.

Particularly valuable photographs from the First Arsch era and the Schwerin art scene.

For nearly thirty years, Matthias has documented Rammstein’s concert activities—from the Mutter tour to the 2024 stadium tour—resulting in several photo booklets covering various periods.

Collaborating with Till’s solo project—and with Till himself as a poet—is a subject in its own right, one that cannot be covered in just a few words.

Since I got reminded of this interview today, I figured I would post it. It is a Spanish interview from 1997 with Flake Lorenz and Oliver Riedel. And because these two Rammstein members were the worst at English at the time, Oliver decided to let Flake do all the talking while he just stood next to him, looking absolutely fabulous.

Highlight of the interview: About one minute in, Flake demonstrating the only thing that Rammstein can play, which makes Oliver smile.
