Eldritch Borderline Abomination

🪱Hey everyone! We have a bit of a different post from what we usually make. We'd like to share our cat with you, and hopefully ask for a bit of help :,>

🧠This is Blue, and he's a stray who wandered onto our property about a year ago, and since then we've been taking effort to domesticate him and provide him a safe home. It hasn't come without it's issues though,, he frequently yearns for the outside and escapes despite my best efforts, which lead to his current condition :(.

🧠During his escape, he sustained a bite or laceration (cause unknown) that progressed into a pretty serious infection in his paw. The Southern Oregon area we call home has a distinct hole in Veterinary Care, and I've called almost every vet in the state for the past few months in order to have him seen. Only after an emergency hospital trip was he seen, his infection having progressed to farther into his body. Antibiotics were given in time, and I was able to make sure his costs were covered myself, albiet at the cost of the last of my savings,,,
