Earlier this year the youtuber Angel Ganev did something called the 5 day portrait challenge where he livestreamed everyday for 5 days on how he breaks down portraits and colour them.

Im not sure if he has videos explaining the same way I learned from him since they were now privated livestreams.

These are the accounts, his main and the one for his website.

This was the notes I did (and the blacked out area is the drawing I did it was just low quality lol)

For shadows you have the og colour then go towards the nearest red (if youre the white dot go left more, if youre the red dot go right more), while bringing up saturation and down in value (towards the colour and the black) (right, left on the sliders in this example)

For highlights you go towards yellow in the closest direction and lower saturation with higher value (the opposite for shadows).

This is an example of the colour stacks he taught (or as the chat called them, the poop method and croissant method)

Down here are my colours for my pfp without the red low opacity layer which made the colours more cohesive.

The lines are the lineart, but the right image has slightly different colours and also different skin lineart colours to match the vitiligo and scars (if you look closely)

I go for a very red- centric colour palette for gumi since the closer all the colours are the more cohesion you get. You could get away with having non cohesive colours if you overlay a low opacity single colour too, since its like having lighting that makes everything give context to eachother.

Gumis favourite lollies would probably be something sour, but she'll devour anything you give her (if its sweet and untouched) but other than sweet things she WILL analyse if she wants to try it or not (projecting my arfid onto her lmao).

For me, it really depends. It's always changing. Right now its probably skittles or a specific brand of fruit chews but the smoothie varient. Previously it has been sour patch kids, minties, pythons and such things.

They're speaking fluent in all the languages I listed in the og first post (I dont wanna go back and check lmao) and I've chocked it down to just gumi having adhd as the reasoning 😭 bro studied a tiny bit of Korean but gave up since they had bigger fish to fry.

They can only write in russian, german, and hiragana and katakana (they dont wanna learn all the kanji lmao)

They talk in Japanese (living in japan ofc duh) but they do most of their writing in Russian. They think in a mixture of Japanese and German and will frequently blurt out random phrases.

Around certain people he'll talk in different languages. Fyodor barely knows japanese so the gang all talk in russian to him. They learned ukranian for funsies and so they can have secret conversations with nikolai. They recently finished learning polish which she speaks to sigma, usually in the casino as to not let anyone else hear their conversations.

The girls names,

Cinnamon, fudge, honey, poptart, croissant, marshmallow, eclipse, Kurogiri, chickpea, and onigiri!

The boys, cage:

1: blanc and noir

2: cappuccino, cocoa, limousine, vanilla bean and toffee

3: prawn and shrimp

5: twice and cupcake

6: shigaraki and nutmeg

7: chip and bread

All of these piggies came from fudge, cinnamon, chip and biscuit (who we lost about 2 or 3 years ago 😔) chip is our oldest at 8-9, he's blind deaf and essentially mute. (Yes some are named after the mha lov that was my little sisters doing lol)

Most people who know me irl know my existence BECAUSE of my piggy babies.
