Life is just being extremely difficult. I’m having trouble finding work - I have a temp role, but really need something permanent soon because I can’t deal with the stress of not having a routine, normal income any more. Our letting agency want to either lock us in for another six months and raise our rent, or for us to give our two months’ notice. Effectively that means we stay here and pay West End rates when we don’t have steady work, or move back in with our parents (or both in with my mum? Not sure yet.) because there is no way we’ll be able to rent another flat without at least one of us having a job, etc, etc.

I have been for four interviews and have been told after every single one that I did really well but didn’t get the job. I don’t even know how many jobs I’ve applied for since my last contract ended. It’s hard not to blame myself for not being able to stick out my training contract (even though that, too, only counted as temporary work) but I was physically unable to continue and I feel so much happier now than I have in years now that I’m not putting myself under so much pressure.
