Jesus christ, this is the most insane roster yet. Also, we will have 3 PHYSICAL BOOKS in our hands in the coming months. All revolving around this beautiful, gentle, and quiet-steeled Seer. Throughout her writing process, I just know that SJM never fully realized how great the potential Elain's story has.

why is it so hard to understand that N&C are important to ELAIN’S STORY, the same way E&G are important to NESTA’S STORY???

In the Trilogy, Mor and Amren have so many page count because the story is from Feyre’s POV. Where is Gwyn and Emerie in the Trilogy? NONE. Why? coz they are not needed to enhance Feyre’s story. They have no use for Feyre.

The twins have their role in the trilogy as a tertiary side character because of their association with Rhysand. Only there as helpers rather than being Feyre’s friends.

Theres a reason why the twins are only refered to as “half wraith twins” from Nesta’s pov, bcoz thats literally what they are to Nesta. Are they important to Nesta’s story? NO.

Will Emerie and Gwyn have a big role in Elain’s story? NO. At most Elain might knew them as “Nesta’s friend”. But does it diminish their importance in the Acotar series? NO. But in Elain’s story? YES.

Will the twins have more role in Elain’s story? YES. For the sole reason of what they are to Elain. Friends who she spent a lot of time with. How much and who the main character spent their time with influence the importance of the side characters involved.

N&C will get this “investment” when we read Elain’s story.

In ACOFAS, Sjm hinted that Emerie and Nesta were going to become friends.

There are 0 hints that Elain is going to have a friendship with Jurian, Vassa or Eris.

Instead, Mass chose to remind us in acosf that Elain has made two friends by herself. Together they form a female-centric trio. Just like the Valkryies. Just like Amren/Mor and Feyre.

We don’t know much about the twins, just like we didn’t know much about Emerie. The point of Elains book, is to also flesh out Nuala and Cerrideweans’ characters like how acosf fleshed out Emerie and Gwyn. We will learn more about the twins in Elains book because they’ve become important to HER character.

There was no reason for Sjm to make them friends if she was planning on dropping that friendship. She could have stated elain is friendly with the twins but instead made their friendship deeper.

SJM want to write a book abt Elain since 2018!!!Since acomaf, Sjm already know, Elain will have her own story. Theres already a plan and draft written for her.

If Elain is not intended to be as important as her sisters, sjm could easily write her to remain in human lands and be with greyson or something. Sjm could also remove her from ANY involvement in the war especially the role of killing the king. Not just any killing mind u, She’s the plot twist. Feyre prayed to the Mother and ELAIN ANSWERED HER CALL

Why gave her powers, a gift by the cauldron no less as The Cauldron found her so lovely. Integrate her to the core group and had her relevant to the main plot.

why sjm would gave those traits to a character that’s “not important enough to carry 1600 pages”

and whats funny, they want a character that only introduced in a spinoff to carry 1600 pages just because she’s so much more ✨developed✨.

Mor sleeps with Cassian in the hopes of that ending her engagement with Eris. Eris hears about it and is like, she slept with Cassian? I am ending our engagement. For all we know he gave Mor a fucking wink and thumbs up from across the room as he said it; I doubt she would have noticed or cared regardless.

Mor gets dumped on the Autumn Court border by Keir (and it’s weird that all the blame and anger about this situation seems to be directed at Eris and not Keir, you know the one who actually tortured her). And Eris is like don’t touch her or she’s our responsibility. Hey Mor, checking in, you don’t want to become our responsibility and be forced to live in the Autumn Court, right? And Mor is like I’d rather die, asshole. And Eris is like, got it, roll out boys. And given that we know Eris sent an anonymous tip to Tamlin when Lucien went on the run, it does not seem crazy to assume that after the encounter with Mor, Eris might have secretly sent Azi a note like come get your girl.

And then we have the plan to have Nesta seduce Eris at the ball in order to strengthen his commitment to their alliance. And after he dances with her he goes to Rhysand and is like, hey, I noticed you had Nesta come seduce me and yes, I am in, let’s discuss marriage alliance.
