kaz being emiel kroon and attending events and parties without his gloves on is so freaking cool and huge for him (think of all the hands he’s been shaking)!!! a subtle way he gets to work on his haphephobia and his progress shows in the last photo when he and inej reunite again and the gloves are off go kaz go kaz go kaz

but on top of the painkillers, is that another factor in why he looked so ill? maybe he was pushing himself too hard too fast?

i’m now of firm belief emiel is kaz’s middle name (evidence: using jordie’s johannus in the past) and kroon literally just translates to crown (kings and queens!) he’s so extra i love him
