Hello all, Zee here! I wanted to announce that I am shutting this blog down and moving to a different account to essentially give my Tumblr a fresh start. The primary reason for this is to finally get around to properly organizing my Tumblr in a way that keeps me more sane (and perhaps more eager to be active here) which I have been wanting to do for years. But I won’t lie, the final straw that pushed me into finally do it was when my account was hijacked by a scammer on Nov 12th. I’m ready for a fresh start.
I started this account back in 2020, brand new to Tumblr and pretty new to social media in the first place. This place holds a lot of memories (and mutuals) that I find myself genuinely sad to let go. But I’ll still be around (mostly lol, my activity here has never been regular). I’m working out a plan to make the transition to my new account as seamless as possible.
Right now, my new home is under the blog name zeeboomblybee. I’m quite attached to my current username (and pfp, and general aesthetics of this blog) so it will look quite similar to this one. Once the transition is settled and I’m using the new account full time, I plan to change this account’s name to something else so I can keep being active as zeeboomblebee. It will also make things easier for potential followers/moots to find me lol. I don’t think I’ll be deleting this account (at least any time soon) as I’m not quite ready to let this place go fully, but it will become quite dead regardless.
I think I’m going to give myself about a week to settle into the new account before changing my name and moving fully. I’ll keep this post pinned permanently and give it a final update with any last details before I go. It’s been a ride on this blog and I’ll miss it. But I’m looking forward to creating new memories and meet new people on my new account. Hope you consider joining me!
