the really appealing thing about ffxv's characters, for me, is that theyre allowed to be awkward n fart in the car and say weird shit and just. Be Gremlins. it's what makes them feel so real compared to other vidya games where the folks Do No Awkward things unless their personality IS Awkward/Comic Relief. those who make fun of his selfies just prove my point. i have Never met a person who takes Every Selfie immaculately instead of saving 1 out of 20 n finally that is reflected in these dorks
YES. THAT’S WHY I LOVE FFXV. I HATE real dudes but like these dudes are what people should mean when they say “Boys will be boys.” These guys can be the most disgusting, greasy, dirty, guys ever but it isn’t gross cause like??? They’re wonderful guys???? Noctis could let a fat one rip in the car and the guys can make fun of his princely flatulence but he’s still a wonderful, lovable, endearing guy because he’s a kind, caring person. Gladio can flirt with anyone while smelling like shit and absolutely fail at flirting, but it isn’t creepy or annoying because he doesn’t persist and he’s still a really sweet guy who cares about everyone around him. Ignis can be gross and dirty and make a dinner that’s equally as gross and dirty but he isn’t gross and dirty for it cause he genuinely cares for the people he’s making meals for and is a dear to everyone. And Prompto… Prompto, Prompto, Prompto. He can take the most ugly selfie, say the most horrible, cheesy pun, be a total nerd, and crush on so many girls but he’s a genuinely kind, sweet, caring guy, even towards people, crushes of his, or animals he’ll only see once because he’s just genuinely courteous. These guys are all sweet, and can all be gross because they don’t act like gross/entitled men. These things that are normally considered gross or not good traits in a lot of guys, but they wear it good because they don’t act gross as a result of these behaviors or aren’t gross and have these behaviors. Idk I’m bad at words but like… They’re darlings. Dirty, grubby, sweaty, smelly, imperfect darlings? Yes. But still darlings nonetheless.
