i haven't made a post in months but i decided to come back and share my manifesting experience. don't wanna share too much background but basically yesterday, something happened where i ended up giving away some money and i just thought "wtv more will find its way back to me" and just didn't think about it, then today IT DID, more than i originally gave away, it was unexpected because i completely forgot about what i thought and it was so much faster than i would've ever imagined. i know it doesn't sound like much but i haven't been focusing on "actively" shifting or manifesting, obviously i still wanted to but i just kept avoiding it because of my own attachments or thought "let's just experience *wtv, like a new episode to something i love* and I'll shift tomorrow" and with manifesting, it always fell on the back burner because i saw it as two separate things and the thought of actively "trying" to manifest was pure dread. i always knew it worked this way but i didn't fully think it would work for me as much as i hoped, but OHMYFUCKINGGOD i create my own reality and its narratives.
anyway, i don't have any advice, just exist in this reality, exist in your reality, and have an unbelievable amount of unwavering stubborness. see you all in our desired circumstances and i hope wherever you end up, you'll make peace with this one and feel silly for making it seem harder than it is.
Jolena Odessa Cameron, born March 1, 2006, is the most Pisces woman you’ll ever meet. Sensitivity and creativity run through her veins similar to how she runs her hands through her hair after the sunny, yet windy, New York weather proves to be her biggest enemy once again. She graces the bustling streets of New York with her confidence accentuated with her caramel perfume, Miu Miu heels, a flawless face card, and a soul that makes sure to prioritize her own happiness and comfort over anyone else’s.
A normal morning for Jo is full of coffee, a yogurt bowl, listening to Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift, or SZA while doing her makeup after doing her skincare routine. Singing into a makeup brush or hairbrush isn’t uncommon and while she’d be embarrassed if someone found her while doing such, she doesn’t have to worry about that because she lives alone. Well.. almost alone.
Jo and her cat, Oscar, are best friends. Would Oscar say the same? Well he’s a cat and can’t talk much or at all. Jo says if Oscar was a human he’d run to the door like a child when she got home, but roll his eyes as she lay in bed staring at the ceiling as she recounted the events of her day instead of sleeping. He’d watch as she danced or sang along to Carpenters or The Beatles on vinyl, but drop his head as she clumsily dropped another egg while trying to bake. Oscar and Jo’s relationship developed quickly after she adopted him from a local shelter. His 5am outside bathroom trips and laying on her chest to sleep should annoy her but Jo loves Oscar all the more even if he’s a little strange, like her.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK ON THE DOOR
Some mornings consist of grabbing brunch with her best friend, Jia, at a local cafe. Working on new fashion designs or writing a new song seems to come easier when she’s in the cafe surrounded by the smell of coffee, pastries, and her favorite omelette.
Afternoon’s are filled with pilates, music, yoga, swimming, walks around Central Park, and meeting up with her friends at an Italian restaurant. Conversations consist of TV show addictions, newest music release, a new piece of clothing bought, jewelry or a new perfume scent, a book recommendation, or sitting silently while devouring pizza, spaghetti, or alfredo. Listening to her friends talk or rant brightens her day even if a friend is struggling. Jo enjoys vulnerability and being able to be a shoulder to lean on. She believes this is what she was made for, connection.
ITS TIME FOR MAKEUP, PERFECT SMILE
When she's not using her free time to spend time with friends or herself, she's songwriting and producing new melodies and beats while also vlogging or blogging about her life. Jo grew up on the internet and her dream since she was a child was to share her experiences with others and to somehow connect through them. Her recent video, celebrating 100,000 subscribers, was emotional yet fun as she spent the day with her best friends going shopping for clothes, going out to eat, traveling to see SZA and Kendrick Lamar’s concert in New Jersey, and crying to her camera as she expressed this was all she wanted as a little girl.
Jo's notebook and pen are a powerful force as she’s gotten most things she manifested this year. Most, because the things she didn't receive lead her to places even better. Her blog on Tumblr, ihrthoneypie, reached 40,000 followers within the last month making this Jo’s biggest month on the app. With over 70,000 followers, Jo has connected with so many people she didn’t think was possible. On Tumblr, she shares her experiences throughout the day like the time she got off at the wrong subway station, walked two blocks, got pizza, dropped said pizza, got whiplash as her playlist played ME! then this is me trying by Taylor Swift, got Taco Bell and didn’t get home until 12am. She also shares her playlists, latest favorite fashion trends, and her fashion design sketches.
Her favorite thing to do on the app is to show her latest melodies and beats she’s been working on along with her newest song(s). Jo’s melodies and beats are like no other and some followers have said she should produce something for a bigger artist to get her name out there. Jo isn’t focused on being big in the music industry but rather telling her story to those who stumble upon it. While she would someday love to have her own studio, her bedroom floor suffices for now.
ITS YOU THEY’RE ALL WAITING FOR
When asked about where she’d want to see herself in the next five years, Jo was unsure of how to answer. She’d been so blessed in the last two years receiving most of what she wanted and if not, more. Happy and sure of herself was what she answered. And maybe having a boyfriend but she deleted that before she replied to the follower on Tumblr…
The truth was that she really didn’t know. She still wanted to be a YouTuber in the next five years and hopefully time would allow that, but what if things changed and her view on music made her take things more seriously? What if those sketches in her notebook took her somewhere in the fashion industry? Only time would tell…

⋆ ౨ৎ ˚ ⟡ ˖ ࣪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀hailee steinfield on those who have a story, hawkeye, and true grit
⠀⠀⠀"those who have a story has to be one of the most...compelling films i've ever acted in. the story is just amazing, the themes it explores, the message it sends. the way emilia has written it so richly and is able to explore something so simple yet complex in such a mesmerising way is honestly just beyond me. she's just so fantastic."
⋆ ౨ৎ ˚ ⟡ ˖ ࣪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ella purnell on working with emilia anderson and how she will never feel the same on another director's set
⠀⠀⠀"oh, emilia! i'm so glad you asked, because she is by far the best director i have ever worked with. and this is not an insult to the others but just pure praise for emilia, because that's how good she is! she's just so passionate about film and what she does, and is just the sweetest. she takes into consideration nearly everything. even what she knows are your personal preferences. just...a delight to work with. honestly, i say this whole heartedly, if there is one person that i can protect from all the bad in the world...it's going to be emilia. i love her creative vision, she is in charge of everything from the outfits we wear to the overall aesthetics of the film, and it all just ties into each other so well- with the script, with the themes of the movie. i acted in her first ever feature film, and three in total, and i have just loved being able to see her progress as a film maker and the creative she is. i honestly say this from my heart, i don't think another director can beat how comfortable she made everyone feel on set and...induce as much joy from everyone. she is precise and she knows exactly what she wants from a shot, and she isn't afraid of even acting some of it out just to show us or drawing out her vision, but she remains so understanding and friendly. her approach to filming is just making sure everyone knows each other as people and not just co-workers, and so the whole cast and crew feels like a massive family. i think that adds to the charm her films have. just the way she approaches her creative process and directing, and her personality, makes filming such a joy with her."

⠀⠀⠀"i actually came here for the first time with emilia. and we've actually been meaning to come back together. i've known her for quite some time, and she is basically the sister i've never had. you know, she's six years younger than me, so i've always felt like as someone so close to her- we met when on the set our dads were working on- i had to teach her to learn from my mistakes and all that! we really see each other as sisters and i've learnt just as much from her as she has from me. we first became friends when i had to help her do her hair for training, and, ugh, she's adorable. i adore her, basically."
⋆ ౨ৎ ˚ ⟡ ˖ ࣪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀anya taylor-joy breaks down 13 looks, from dance of whispers to the golden globes
⠀⠀⠀"oh my god! this has to be one of my favourite outfits ever. this makes me so happy. this is myself in the movie 'dance of whispers', directed by the ever so brilliant emilia anderson. i've known emilia for some time before she even got into the world of film making as a screenwriter and a director. i'm pretty sure we met through her father, theodore...amazing director and filmmaker himself. i knew her when she was a literal child! and so, to see her just...blossom into the person she is right now, has been so heartwarming for me to see. we got extremely close, because she was always around set just observing us. i think the only way i can describe how she was at the time is her being a puppy...you know, she has these huge eyes and she's just following us around so curiously and quietly but she has this wandering gaze. even back then, she already had such a love for filmmaking. dance of whispers was her second feature film ever, and when she approached me, she was actually really shy and she was just so cute about the way she went about it. making sure she wasn't bothering me too much...and obviously, i couldn't say no, you know. i read the script, got told about the story and character and just fell in love with not just who i was playing but the whole....thing! her scripts are some of the most well written scripts i've ever read, and she was always so open to feedback and always knew what you were trying to imply. she also has such a clear artistic vision for not just the overall movie but for each individual character and it was so rich how she wrote each of them out and just had...so many layers to them! she also took into account a lot of things, and this outfit, i remember she told me, she wanted to make sure it was something i could climb a tree in; i told her this was how i test out my clothes, like once and she remembered! i had the most fun on the set of dance of whispers, i mean, it wasn't fanciful like other movies i acted in, and the whole environment on set was just so intimate and charming."
⋆ ౨ৎ ˚ ⟡ ˖ ࣪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀sam claflin on fictional villians, working with emilia anderson for the first time and daisy jones and the six
⠀⠀"emilia was actually the one to reach out first, i'm pretty sure. i remember, i was on set of daisy jones and the six when i received the message. obviously, i had heard of her because of how well received her previous films were, but i didn't know her personally before i got the offer for the role, unlike some others. when suki heard that she contacted me, her eyes just lit up and started going on and on about how amazing of a filmmaker she was and how sweet she is as a person. i think camila was also backing her up, because both of them had worked with emilia before, and so i just felt i had to at least read the script. i mean, when someone is praising a filmmaker so highly without even having to be told to, you know you're in for a treat. she sent over the script and i read it and when i was done reading it, i remember, i just sat and stared at my wall for a good five minutes. i think it is the best script i have ever read, and this is a girl who is only sixteen! well she was, at the time. the topics, the themes, the whole concept of the story she was trying to tell was so complex yet so well thought out and executed so brilliantly just from the script alone. immediately, i was like, 'yes i have to do this role!' and she sent me more things on the character i was playing and i knew i had to do it. i even asked her, 'are you sure you want me to play this?' because, i mean, that's how good the script was. i was questioning my ability to act out such a layered character but she immediately replied, 'yes, i have my full confidence in you.' i didn't even care how low the budget was or how much it could make in the box office, i said 'yes'. and, in many ways, acting in 'ifs, buts and maybes' and working with her reminded me of why i even started acting. working with her was very unique. she made us all go out for dinner and play poker and blackjack, just for us to get to know who we were working with better and to develop more of a bond. as people and not just co-workers. the whole time we were shooting, it all felt so personal. i loved it, i really did, and from day one i could see why she got the praise that she did."
⋆ ౨ৎ ˚ ⟡ ˖ ࣪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀a talk with daisy edgar jones
⠀⠀⠀"i actually got into journalling because of emilia, emilia anderson. she is just so brilliant, and i remember it was my first time meeting her and i was so nervous! i didn't know what to expect, but i've heard a lot of great things about her from rachel and ella. but we clicked really well, and that made working with her so enjoyable. she had tons of different leather notebooks with her always, and i asked her about them, and she just explained each of their purpose, i guess, to me. and i told her i always meant to get into journalling to help with my anxiety, and we just talked for a whole hour bonding over our shared anxiety all the time! the next week, she brought me a gorgeous notebook and told me it was a gift she got for me from the brand she gets all her notebooks from. and it had my name engraved and the cutest charms on it, plus the inserts are interchangeable and you can just keep multiple on you. and i asked her why, because no one has ever done something so sweet, and her heart...oh my god, she's just so kind. and she said that it was because she knew how helpful journalling can be for anxiety and to kind of navigate intrusive thoughts all the time. oh, bless her soul. i still use it to this day, and it's just been the most brilliant habit i have everyday."
⋆ ౨ৎ ˚ ⟡ ˖ ࣪⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀florence pugh on yelena, working with different directors, and drenching hailee steinfeld with hot sauce
⠀⠀⠀"when it came to working with emilia, i'd have to say it definitely is a very special experience. she brings so much joy and passion to set and she does things very uniquely. she always makes sure that we see each other as, not just co-workers, but friends. as people that we need to know on a personal scale. and for that reason, it just feels so personal working together with her. she really gets to know you and your preferences, taking into consideration nearly everything...she just is a very special and one of a kind film maker. my core memory definitely has to be her bringing the cast and crew out to her favourite speakeasy and us just bonding over shared interests and playing poker with each other. i actually didn't know how to play poker and she had to teach me! but it's just the way she approaches everything, and i'm guessing she got this from her time as an athlete, but most of the time directors can be very one track minded. not that it's particularly bad. but emilia always approaches everything with us being a team in mind. we're not just there for ourselves and we don't just owe it to ourselves to do our best, but to everyone else as well. and i think that's why it always felt so energetic on set, no matter how long we've been at it, because we were always giving everything for each other. she gave a really good speech at the beginning of filming as well, and it really just set things off right. i really liked filming with her, and it is actually one of my favourite films i've done."

⠀"you know the rings my character always wore? the really pretty one that is like yellow and white gold , and then the butterfly and clover one, and the ladybug one? yeah, i wear those like, everyday now. i'm not even kidding! i originally only asked if i could take home the really simple tennis necklace but emilia...this girl! oh, this sweet angel. she came up to me with just all the jewellery my charcter wore frequently and told me that i could keep them all because she thought they looked really good on me. you best believe i am wearing all of them on the daily. and she even gave me their little boxes as well, oh this girl."
⠀"she's like an angel, like i want to protect her from all the bad in the world, honestly. remember her thank you speech?"
⠀"oh, yes. the part where she thanked us all for trusting her and for doing our best to help her make the film, oh my heart melted. she gave you a couple things to keep as well, didn't she?"
⠀"yeah, the watch, my character wore, she gave me that. i wear it everyday as well. and the jumpers my character wore, plus the jackets. they are all so comfortable, like they are a staple in my wardrobe right now. and when people ask me where i got them from, i always say i got it from a friend. cause i mean, she is so much more than just a director now, she's become one of my best friends in the industry. like my little sister."

hi everyone, i haven't posted anything since february purely because i didn't have anything to say that hasn't been said time and time again, but i thought I'd share this little thing that's been withering away in my gallery for months. i don't remember the exact context of the video this comment was on but it resonated with me

i love hearing about oddly specific details in people's drs, you collect a certain item because it reminds you of your best friend? you own a set of mismatched niche perfumes and you know all their scents by heart? your grandparents live by the ocean and have a garden that's covered with dandelions? a childhood memory with your siblings or friends getting in trouble? the background of why you started a sport? TELL ME MORE. (pretty please)
since becoming a shifter sometime in 2021, ive shifted roughly 5 times, and all those times it felt so effortless? i didn't have any "symptoms" at that moment nor feel anything out of the ordinary, i barely noticed i shifted.
my most memorable (for lack of a better word) shifting experience, i was mindlessly listening to a subliminal and i remembered i didn't pay much attention to it, it served as background noise whilst i was distracted thinking about whatever. next thing i remembered, i was leaning on a chair in a makeup room talking to two other people, i didn't notice anything had changed until my head jerked and i opened my eyes to see my cr room, i was a little stunned for a moment and couldn't even form my thoughts properly. it happened so fast, i wasn't groggy but it felt kind of like when you're thinking about another thing whilst talking to someone and isn't paying that much attention to what they're saying but you still hear them.
i think people put so much pressure on themselves to shift like it's a chore because they want more than anything to get away from this reality and feel like they're on a time limit, and trust when i say i know exactly how you feel, there's been so many times where i felt like that to the point i started to doubt that i was meant to shift or even had the ability to. i took an unconscious break from shifting to figure some things out about what i feared and why i wanted to shift so badly but still chose to scroll on tiktok fantasizing about my dr instead of shifting and experiencing it firsthand.
shifting is supposed to be fun, you have an endless amount of possibilities in the palm of your hand, take a break if you feel like you need to, you're not on a time limit so don't force it on yourself. relax and don't worry too much, persist and believe, believe in yourself, believe that you have the ability to shift and don't put too much pressure on yourself, shifting isn't meant to feel like a chore.
hii, I've really only minishifted a few times so the longest I've spent in my drs is probably a few seconds (i don't really use the word cause i shifted nonetheless)
but small tangent, one of the times i minishifted i full on saw and heard my dr, it wasn't the dr i was intending to shift to that night but it was one i had been thinking of/scripting that morning. my eyes were open and i was having a conversation with the people in my dr, it happened so quickly i didn't even realize i shifted until my head jerked and i shifted back to this reality.
Hiii I love it when people ramble on about their drs :)
1. Scariest thing you scripted that your kinda scared to face
2.funiest things you have scripted
3. Are you the type to script in parents and a family or be an orphan
4. What other supernatural things have you scripted to be and what's your fav ability
Pls and Ty 😁🙏
hii, i love this question sm
1. the scariest thing I've scripted was probably from my old mcu script, it was either in endgame or infinity war and i was trapped in an endless loop of watching my loved ones dying and not being able to save them (leave me alone ive changed since </3)
2. funniest thing ive scripted is in my fame dr, where i'm a judge on a singing impersonation show and one the judges and i are making fun of the hosts and contestants (i swear it's funnier i just don't know how to describe it)
3. im always the type to script my parents and family (my bsf can cooperate because i bother her with all my scripting)
4. supernatural thing, ummmm does kitsune count? my favorite ability is shapeshifting and umbraportation (teleporting through shadows and dark places)
im sorry if my answers aren't that whimsy, i just never script scenarios </3 but thank you sm for the questions, it was really fun to answer

i've come across a few posts on both tumblr and tiktok of people saying the first time they shift will be the last (permashifting) which is amazing and i'm indescribably happy for them— but the point of me making this post is to remind shifters that shifting doesn't have to end at you dr (if that's not what you want).
you and i have the whole universe at the palm of our hands, the universe is infinite, we are infinite.
permashifting to my waiting room is just the beginning.
i want to be an interpreter, i want to live in my home country during the 90s, i want to live in rouen france stargazing on a rooftop with my best friend, i want to be a fashion designer traveling the world with a townhouse in new york, i want to be a nepo baby with a strange name traveling with my adopted parents, i want to be an addams in the 1991 film, i want to have superpowers and live in the marvel comic universe, i want to live in a cyberpunk city, i want to be a pokemon trainer, i want to be one of miss peregrine's peculiar children, i want to be an earthbender, i want to experience infinity.
Hey! What's your go to when it comes to shifting? I've scripted my desired reality and I'm loving it. Ready to permanently shift/respawn. How is it done?
hii thank you for the question, this post will just be about what i do when shifting. which pls remember to keep in mind, what works for me might not work for you, and you should change and modify a method however you like.
one of my favorite shifting methods is the reality stone method (by @/djanique.joan on tiktok) while box breathing (inhale for 4 seconds, hold it for 4 seconds and exhale slowly) and irregularly repeating "i am" (i do think mediating or turning off your phone a bit before doing this method is useful to declutter your mind so it's easier to focus)
subliminals are also pretty useful to clear your mind or just using it to shift (try alunir on youtube for a guided shifting method)
what i do throughout the day to kinda get into the mindset is set my intention to shift to a certain reality and don't focus too much on shifting. i kinda go through my day as if i'm in a life simulator, like i'm watching this reality happen in third person. i don't mean acting robotic or not paying attention, more so act as if you're controlling a character in a game, nothing really matters. observe your life as normal but don't absorb it.
if you're having trouble choosing what dr to shift to, shift to a waiting room or a quiet life type dr (shift to a place you've already been to and is familiar with, it can be anywhere like a hotel room you've been in or a childhood home)
don't overcomplicate shifting, be patient and remember you don't need anything to shift but yourself. stay disciplined, shifting doesn't have to end when you shift to your dr, you have the whole universe in the palm of your hand, your dr is only the beginning.
(sorry for the messy format and rambling, but it's really nothing new for my posts. hope this was at least somewhat useful tho<3)
play an instrument (harp, violin, piano, guitar or even more traditional instruments like zither (and so much more))
ceramics/pottery/air clay (ceramics is my personal favorite because you can make jewelry out of it)
scrapbooking/junk journal (i love junk journal because it's much more laid back/doesn't require much effort or even buying material, everywhere you visit, just take smth free like a business card or sticker and add)
making comics (you can also release them in the newspapers if newspapers are more prominent in your dr)
collect insects (it's a little unethical to kill a large amount of insect species that are a significant part of the environment purely for display so i think keeping a picture of them or finding and freezing already dead bugs are the better alternatives)
martial arts (ju jitsu, taekwondo, karate, wushu, judo, tai chi, muay thai, hapkido, shaolin, etc)
pool table (idk it's fun)
volunteering (animal shelters, soup kitchens etc)
herbalism (live out your witch in a cottage dream)
making jewelry (this can also be profitable)
researching/learning (choose smth you're interested in like entomology and learn about it)
wannabe journalism (basically writing, choose a topic like an art movement and write a mildly bad but enjoyable article about it)
make mockumentaries (time consuming but so cool)
flower pressing (so cute i love it)
sewing (it's fun and useful)
sketching as a form of photography (sketch any place you visit in real time as memorabilia, like a river with ducks floating or people walking past a tourist attraction)
traveling (visit cool hotels or airbnbs (like a private cabin on a ski resort or a large treehouse)) visit animal cafes, maybe also travel vlogging)
recycling your old stuff (making paper from used work sheets, make a new outfit/whatever you want out of old clothes you've grown out of)
doll-making (if you do this marry me)
jam-making (something to go along with herbalism, make jam toast with tea idk)
amateur astronomy (a more calm hobby, go on a solo picnic at night with your telescope)
candle making (thank you sm to the commenter)
will come back to edit if i find more, feel free (pls) add more ideas if you have any<3
how i feel having my 20+ hobbies and speaking an annoying amount of languages in my dr
i love scripting my hobbies and interests to make up for being boring in this universe
(which i highly encourage shifters to add in their drs <especially if you're permashifting to a better cr> because it just makes life more whimsy and interesting— should i make a post about hobby/interest ideas?? they'll be good i swear)
