second ever YTP, slightly better sentence mixing

The 90s clearly had the right idea when it came to character design.

my first ever YTP has been completed. it ain't great, but it's decent for a first attempt

I wish they'd made a comeback, to be honest. You don't see them much anymore, and whilst many were kinda bad, they had potential (can't be any worse than Blinx, after all). With modern hardware, we could have more vibrant graphics and more cartoony sort of sprites. Remaking Bubsy: Claws Encounters Of The Furred Kind or Gex could be a great move, all things considered - especially if they were multi-platform.

Bubsy 3D is overhated. sure the controls suck, and the graphics aren't as good as SM64, but it was started development at a time where there weren't really any 3D platformers, and by the time the main rivals to Bubsy 3D were announced, there wasn't enough money in the budget to start from scratch. In other words - it was destined to be somewhat mediocre, but it wasn't especially bad - at least in context. furthermore, Bubsy doesn't even talk that much outside of the tutorial, so even if you do find his voice annoying, he isn't as talkative as people say.

In Gex: Enter The Gecko, Danny John-Jules voices Gex in the UK release. Danny John-Jules also being the same guy who played Cat in Red Dwarf and Officer Dwayne Myers in Death In Paradise.
