Mostly just me thinking about the narratives of Folkish Heathenry, and how basically all of it stems from the conspiracy theory that the "Aryan race" is descended from a superior set of beings known as Hyperboreans.

And that led me to think about how narratives like this are used to give people a sense of superiority to satisfy their feelings of insignificance. And that led me to think about how significance and superiority are two different things.

At the same time, I was also thinking about how the idea of "being human" has been so debased by white western society that we no longer see it as the astounding and dynamic thing it really is. And then I thought about how this feels like a complementary element to my first line of thought.
