Apart from being super menacing and creepy, this line makes me picture a world in which this happens as a twisted way for Megatron to regain his friend. It’s Orion, but completely under his control.
I doubt Megatron thinks critically of his own choices/actions, and most likely sees Optimus’ disagreeing with him as the thing that tore them apart. ofc it’s super unlikely the writers (nor megatron) were thinking this deeply about it, I just got the thought in my head and needed to archive it somewhere. anyways this might result in some fucked up au fanart from me :3
