you know how oviraptorosaurs are often called "chickenparrots?"

well i recently learned abt the real life chickenparrot: the kili mooku chicken ("parrot beak/nose" in tamil)

i unfortunately dont know as much about them as i'd like since idk tamil well but from what little i understand, they're a show breed developed in tamil nadu (my state!) who are surprisngly health despite how odd they look! their breed standard also seems to include little to no wattles save a single round comb, so that one comb makes em look even more like oviraptorosaurs!

9 week old Egg doing scent work - not only is this impressive due to her age, but she also taught the entire trick to herself! She watched me play the scent game with Olive and then copied Olive to a tee, bringing the correct scent to me and everything! I was amazed and so rewarded this, and since then she has been continuing to find the correct scent.

So Julianna claimed a basket that was on top of some pillows as her bed. No problem, I'm pretty happy to let her sleep wherever she wants.

(There’s also PreP - Pre Exposure Prophylaxis, which is taking medication if you feel you are at risk of being exposed to HIV, whether through sexual partners or sharing injection needles)

There’s been a lot of progress in this. So long as you’re taking your medications (anti-retrovirals), it’s essentially become another chronic disease like diabetes or COPD etc. HIV patients nowadays are living into their 60s and 70s and are more likely to die of cardiovascular disease rather than opportunistic infections or AIDS defining illnesses. 

If the HIV viral load is undetectable, then your CD4 counts (your white cells that are affected by the virus) should normalise. Such that you’re no different to the general population when it comes to infection risk.

Yes, we should all still be precautious, but it’s no longer a death sentence. 

Post-T, my voice dropped approximately a fuck-ton (metric) and I can no longer do that. Lil'y has responded by making her own meows as gravely as possible, so I can meow at her again.
