My Final Goodbye
I’ve been wanting to make this post for a while but I honestly felt very dishonest about it. The otherkin community for a long time was many times the reason I made it through each day, and will always be a community that I highly respect and hold lots of love for.
However, after years of finally discovering who I am, and starting to transition into the man I want to be. I’ve realized that I am not otherkin, and maybe never was. I make this decision out of wellness for myself and to finally move on from this stage in my life. I know I gave many of you advice about your awakenings, and in many ways I do still stand by those beliefs. The journey to know one’s self is always worthwhile, no matter what or where it takes you. Period.
This blog will still remain, yet will be abandoned as I no longer have a place within the community. If you want to find me and chat however, I’ll be on my main blog @laughableillusions
This is only a farewell to my personal beliefs and to the community itself, not one of friendship or allyship. I hold no bad-will or hatred for any non-human believer, and still believe it is a perfectly valid lifestyle and spiritual practice.
