RANT INCOMING
Hot take I think:
Inventory management in Minecraft is a skill issue.
It used to be a problem, sure, but bundles have made adventuring so much easier. if you're off searching for flowers but don't need a full stack of them, especially if it's two block tall flowers that you can bonemeal, just put them in a bundle! those fourteen assorted flowers now take up one inventory space instead of three!
I will admit, it's still a bit of an issue for builders who use lots of blocks and sometimes caving, but it's very manageable.
I build a lot in minecraft and I have not made it to the end to get shulkers in my current world. I have lots of chests at home, I go out and fill my inventory with blocks and come back home.
Caving is trickier, I think the rascal could help with that if they ever decide to bring that mob back. But also, I'm positive you can throw away some of your cobblestone unless you are specifically mining for that.
I throw away seeds and sticks, I bring limited food and multiple bundles! it's really not that hard.
