I collect hobbies like Aziraphale collects books
I think it's safe to say that the Good Omens brainrot has got me to solidly in its mushy mushy grasp. And I'm honestly the better for it, because I have been more creative since the second season aired, and in new ways, than I ever have before. I am a childfree woman entering middle-age, with both chronic and mental illnesses, that has always had more hobbies than time...or ability...or energy. But this show and these two beautiful beings and the actors who play them kicked my creative engines in the metaphorical drives, or some such fanciful nonsense.
The incredibly supportive community certainly doesn't hurt, with which I wouldn't have found my dear friend @arkhaminmate337 to help brainstorm and beta their fics, which gave me the courage to start writing my own stuff. So yeah, I've found myself trying new things and learning new skills, stumbling and bumbling around in an effort to express myself and all the feelings these characters inspire in me. And I thought it'd be a good idea to shove it all together in one post!
