Okay ya ready??  (oh and im ignoring the vlog completely lol i think we can all agree with that)

So we all know that the turning point was season 3, but Im wondering why exactly.  What made him think, “huh maybe my feelings are more serious than jst playful flirting, or trying to get a kiss? Maybe Allura means alot more to me then just a pretty face”

And I have the answer!

This moment.  Right here.  S2E13

When the castle blew up, and everyone thought she had died.  The moment Lance thought he’d lost her.  Look at his face

ahhh im crying  Everyone else was looking up at the castle completely dumbstruck, but Lance was already doubled over, in full regret mode.  (and we know how hard he is on himself)  

What could have been going on in his head?? Why did I waste so much time flirting?  I knew she didnt like it.  I could have spent that time getting to know her… asking about her father and mother and homeplanet.  I could have been friends with her.  I could have not been annoying.  I could have….. I could have….

but i didnt

I swear i didnt photoshop or anything (i dont have those skillz lol)  I actually discovered this AS I WAS MAKING THIS POST lolol and I completely freaked out hahaha XD

So yeah I think it’s safe to say that was the turning point, because from then on we stopped getting looks like this

person number two : them? oh, they’re kind of like the garrison’s very own golden trio. all of them are scary smart.

person number three: pidge is a complete tech wizard, and i’ve heard that hunk once made a robot using only a magnet, a cracker, some toothpaste and his left sock.

person number two: lance is a different kind of smart, but don’t let his flirty attitude fool you. that dude is a wicked strategist, and can think incredibly fast in tense situations.

person number one: oh wow. they sound pretty intimidating.

person number three: yeah. i’d probably be terrified if i had to hold a conversation with them.

meanwhile, at the garrison trio table

hunk, who has been staring at his peas in a trance-like state for the past ten minutes: do you guys ever think about how peanuts are just nutty peas? i mean, they basically have the same…hardware structure?

pidge, mumbling to herself: peanut hardware. peaware. hardnut. nut hard.

pidge: “i can’t believe i’m saying this but… i think lance is the responsible one now”

lance, scandalized: “i- i am not responsible you take that back”

lance wants, deep in his heart, to be the badass hero who runs headfirst into danger

but then he sees keith doing it and gets stress headaches

lance sends all of his best selfies to the paladin group chat

pidge: “i’m going to bed” hunk: “but it’s noon??” pidge: “time isn’t real”

hunk can say anything in a british accent and lance will be convinced it’s a direct quote from allura

shiro: “at least my life can’t get any worse” the universe: “hold my beer”

do you think coran has nemeses

like sometimes the team’ll just be out and about and’ll hear “well well well if it isn’t coran hieronymus wimbleton smythe”

and coran’s always just like “haha! ol’ rianlus! how’re the kids?? and your butt after we whooped it in the battle of lii??”

how many peaceful outings end in prison breaks because of coran i gotta know
