He's simply humming to himself, assuming that no one would be out so late at night. Looking around for anything interesting or shiny that no one would miss if it happened to disappear.

Anna stopped hearing the sound of his humming and backtracked. A human? No, it was stupid to think that but there wasn't a lot of humaniod creatures that frequented cities. Their scent wafted through the air and her stomach rumbled. It had been a while since she's eaten but she didn't think it was a good idea to take a bit or approach without some idea of what she was dealing with.

Vein certainly didn't frequent cities, but he did at least think to try and conceal his draconic features with a long coat. Though he pauses, tilting his head.

"It isn't?" She asked. "Huh maybe its just a recessive gene. " She took out a gold bracelet from her bag, testing out a theory. Her next go to was a silver bracelet but gold was easier to rule out. "I found this bracelet on my walk home, is it yours?"

Noticing the slight shifts, and hearing someone approaching, Zephyr attempting to be sneaky and hides deeper into the cave.

He's slowly checking out the cave, not intending to leave until he made sure that there isn't anyone in the area.

Zephyr's form flickering. He continues to sneak deeper into the cave. He needs to hide deeper.

He's already decided that something, or someone, is in the cave. So he's walking faster. Impatient.

The sound of speedy footsteps wasn't helping Zephyr. His form destabilized him back into his dragon form, and attempts to fly away from the sound of footsteps to hide in another nearby cave.

Considering he is, somehow, faster on the ground than the air, he catches up soon enough. Jumping to tackle the other.

"Word choice when talking about humans and the whole lying thing made me consider fae but I wasn't certain." She pulled her hand back so the bracelet was closer to her.

"A leprechaun, a very tall one. But I don't judge. I don't exactly assume everything is as humans says." She shrugged. "I don't want you to take it and run without an answer."

He's simply humming to himself, assuming that no one would be out so late at night. Looking around for anything interesting or shiny that no one would miss if it happened to disappear.

Anna stopped hearing the sound of his humming and backtracked. A human? No, it was stupid to think that but there wasn't a lot of humaniod creatures that frequented cities. Their scent wafted through the air and her stomach rumbled. It had been a while since she's eaten but she didn't think it was a good idea to take a bit or approach without some idea of what she was dealing with.

Vein certainly didn't frequent cities, but he did at least think to try and conceal his draconic features with a long coat. Though he pauses, tilting his head.

Now this was awkward, two strangers staring at each other in the middle of the night. She cleared her throat and looked around awkwardly. "Hello."

"I could say the same." She mumbled softly. Not only was it weird for him to be out but she could see his colors quite clearly. She had always been colorblind, excluding the color red, which was somewhat a partial reason why she avoided more rural area. But it was rare to see anyone in so much red that she could see all of their colors clearly without her monocle. "I'm heading home."

"I'm sure I'll be fine for now. It seems like it will be a quiet night." She cleared her throat as a new scent came into vicinity. The smell of blood. It means someone or something got hurt out there. "Why are you out?" She asked suddenly to distract herself.

"Just looking around at night?" She asked as she tried to keep her attention on him but she was quite hungry, unfortunately for her. "As I said, I'm out because I'm going home."

"It is, but I think that mostly because most people work during the day." She shrugged and started to fidget. " Well some of us work nighttime shifts or find if easier to move through the night. Do you smell that?"

"Nevermind then, it must be just me then. But you are correct most people aren't except when they specifically have night jobs." She kept her eyes on his hair.

"Your hair is red. A pretty vibrant red." She replied. "It's not often that you see that color on a person." It wasn't often that she saw any color on a person to be honest.

"It isn't?" She asked. "Huh maybe its just a recessive gene. " She took out a gold bracelet from her bag, testing out a theory. Her next go to was a silver bracelet but gold was easier to rule out. "I found this bracelet on my walk home, is it yours?"

"You should take a closer look." She mumbled noticing that he stared a little too long at it.

"It seems like you like it though, you focused on it a bit longer than normal." She revealed her observation.

"Really, though not too many people are honest when they can get free stuff of value." She held it out to him. "Most humans are greedy."

"So are you a fae?" She asked straight up, just due to his hatred of lying. She figured it was an easier angle to look at first.
