Ruby has A Type

All I want is for RWB to decide to jump into the void to find Yang, but right as Ruby’s about to jump we see Penny grab her hand from behind her. Then, as Ruby turns around, she sees Penny’s eyes welling up with tears for the first time, and they then share one more extremely emotional hug before Ruby jumps (Perhaps with words exchanged, perhaps not, I think either could work)

Picturing RWB planning to jump into the void for Yang, and Penny latches onto Ruby's arm. Immediately Ruby knows what she's doing. She pulls Penny closer and cups her cheeks, promising she'll come back. Penny tries to offer to come along, but Ruby tells her that their friends need her to protect Atlas' civilians. She promises again that she'll come back, but this time just for Penny. On impulse, she kisses her. Then Ruby jumps into the void, Penny watching as her loved one disappears into darkness.
