Destiny :)

OK I've sat with it for a couple of days and I gotta say, I don't like the OoT Remake logo. I think it's a combo of the golden lettering throwing off the colour palette compared to the original red, and also the intense, dark shading on the sword and shield compared with the super flat text throws off the visual composition and balance of the whole thing, My eyes should be drawn to the title of the game, but instead I jump straight to the dang sword!!

Cotinuing my love-hate relationship with Mina the Hollower because wow that lightning mechanic sucks ass

Coping with the lack of Zelda in that direct by convincing myself they're saving it all for a Zelda 40th anniversary direct in the next few months

Definitely would have preferred a more stylized look to the OoT remake, but it really isn't surprising they went the way they did, they needed their big, high profile, first party game that could really show off the new system's graphical capabilities

Honestly now that I'm three chapters behind on Deletarine I think I might just wait until the whole thing is out and play it again from the beginning at that point

They really showed like 5 seconds of ocarina lmao

My game design Hot Take is that you shouldn't make a non-linear "do the main objectives in any order you want" kind of game if it just means that some players will have a messed up difficulty curve

Picked up Mina the Hollower since it was getting such high praise online. Got past the first couple boss fights (or maybe mini-boss and boss fight) but so far it's not really gripping me, the movement and combat just don't quite feel good in my hands
