I made it to the Inner Sanctum for the first time on a day where I had completely blocked off my access to the antechamber...

And then the next day I managed to fill EVERY SINGLE tile of the map without finding a single antechamber lever...

Sometimes I swear the rng in this game is doing it on purpose and laughing at you
