Ariadna has died once due to going to the castle with Doru for the rebellion, and a second time due to bad-mouthing Strahd when he accompanied us to Yester Hill. She has cycled through three versions of herself: Husk, Shadow and Completed. Husk was who she was initially in the game — a paladin who had a very narrow view of killing Strahd. Shadow was a shadow sorcerer who was rather argumentative toward some members of the party and hated Husk for keeping her alive when she wanted to move on. Completed Ariadna came about when she was killed by Strahd at Yester Hill, revived by the mists.

Diablo is known in Vallaki as “The Dragon,” and lives in a small community outside of Tser Pool with a bunch of outsiders. He died seven sessions in initially because of Volenta. (Note to self! Do not go out into Vallaki to get the bones on your own!) Temporarily, this player played a cleric named Viking from Diablo’s community. Though got herself burned up to revive him.
