In case you couldn't tell, I spend quite a bit of time at the beach in the dark, walking and watching the sunrise most mornings. For me it's a living metaphor, a living picture each day to remind me that no matter how dark the night is, or gets, the light is always coming. That has been important having gone through the darkest year(s) of my life, marred by unfaithfulness, betrayal and disappointment. These walks and these photos are a reminder that the night is not permanent. A reminder to not stay in that place. To let go, not become bitter or cynical, but rather look for the light in the dark. To see the good, to be grateful. Lastly, a reminder to hope. The night is temporary. Someone wise once wrote, "Love... trusts, hopes, and endures no matter what. Love will never become obsolete." [1 Cor 13:7-8] Grace and peace to you this Valentines day. (at Bay of Plenty Region) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt1KfrUF0ks/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=ubxbmjtxzi9o
