I'm just listening to an audiobook where it is constantly raining and it feels like the author is mocking me on purpose.
Dude, you think I feel pity for your poor, poor suffering characters in their ruined house with the leaky roof and their struggles travelling muddy roads? I envy them!
My dear friend, we haven't had any rain in ages, water usage is restricted, I'm doing 30 second showers with a bucket between my legs and have bowls in every sink because using freshwater to water plants is strictly prohibited, so I use what I can get.
Every other day we have a new forest fire flare up and my garden is dying on me because I'm running out of collected rainwater and carefully have to plan where to employ the next half bucket to a maximum effect.
If I have to listen to another description of rain pattering on roofs and windows or people slipping in puddles, I'll sue you for crimes against humanity!
