Of course WRF!Robin had her own suicidal ideation/attempt arc. It shapes who she is as a person!! I mean obviously it went a little differently, but she still had her moment to get hit with the trauma hammer <3

So Robin's fascination with Sanji might've started as "this man has a lot of secrets! I will enjoy discovering them." But on some innate level she probably senses that he's falling apart. She's curious. Sanji uses his ideation as a defense mechanism because of his lack of control, whereas she thought she didn't deserve the right to live. Two different approaches with the same end goal.

Robin needed to be convinced that wanting to live wasn't wrong. She'll find it a very worthwhile puzzle indeed to figure out what will help Sanji.

Truly the physical anxiety starter pack. Imagine what he could do on a beta blocker! I know this man has mysterious back pain too

Ahhh divide it into sections for tomes (#mytome)... let me workshop this.

A neat cut off for the first book in terms of story progression would be chap 1-30. But I average around 5,500 words per chapter, which would mean it'd be somewhere in the 165k mark. That's a thick book, and still only one section.

Cutting off based on length, I'd say chap 1-21. Which is more along the lines of 115k.

Soooo if you're going for story progression and a neat "end" to each volume with contained arcs, the way I'd do it is like this:

• 1 to 30 (165k ish)

• 31 to 54 (126k ish)

• 55 to ?? (TBD)

But if I were to split it with a priority on length:

• 1 to 21 (115k ish)

• 22 to 41 (104k ish)

• 42 to 64 (121k ish)

• ??? TBD

Most people don't know a spell to block bullets, so... No magic prowess? No problem! Use a gun. Just start blasting. Pray you're not fighting Luffy.

:) I waited until I posted chap 64 to answer this but you're completely spot on. Like Zoro knows that Sanji needed time alone. It wasn't a matter of if Sanji would run as much as it was a matter of when.

Zoro out here thinking "fuuuuuck, I bombed this shit" cause they had to give surprise treatment to the medical malpractice survivor and now Sanji definitely hates his guts.

Sanji will smoke anything with nicotine. Shorts, slims, menthols, vapes, fuck he'd even hit somebody's discarded butt straight from the ashtray. He's too busy staving off the shakes to be picky.

Zoro only smokes when he's drinking with Sanji. A hit here and there, especially when he's trying to fuck later. He thinks it tastes really fucking bad, but its hot when Sanji does it. Or when he "helps" Zoro take a drag.

Robin social smoker elitism. She loves offering a hand rolled cig to someone she's about to interrogate (without them even knowing btw), and sometimes she'll partake with Sanji. She always laughs when he's surprised by her mixed herb rolls. Definitely refuses to let Chopper see her smoking.

Nami tried it a few times, realized how much money it would cost to keep the habit going, and quit cold turkey. Every time she thinks about smoking again she remembers the splitting headaches she got while quitting and gags.

Luffy doesn't smoke but he thinks it looks so cool. Might take it up when he's a lot older and can afford cigars. He looks like he'd be a cigar guy.

Usopp says he's got smoke-will-kill-me-itis. He just doesn't like the burning feeling. (Took one drag and literally coughed up a lung. Never touched another cig.)

Jinbe smokes loose leaf for SURE. But only occasionally, and he likes the process of cleaning his pipe more than actually smoking.

Brook used to smoke but now he just likes being next to people who are smoking. He says its to keep them company but he misses the feeling sometimes. It used to calm his nerves.

Franky does NOT smoke. But he also gets deliriously horny at the sight of his beloved Robin smoking, so he doesn't say a goddamn word against it. She's so elegant and weird with it how is he supposed to be normal??
