East blue five:

Sanji -> Teen line cook who starts sweating whenever he sees a cop cause he's a runaway and living with (felon) Zeff illegally. Did not finish school, would love to get his GED but won't risk being caught for it. Apparently will risk it for Luffy, though, so there's that...

Nami -> Trafficked and well aware of it. Escaped by jumping her "employer" with Luffy's gang. Diagnosed sticky fingers, sometimes boosts cars for Franky to scrap, so she's got warrants in several counties. Finished middle school.

Usopp -> Orphaned mama's boy who pretends to be hard but he's still going to school when he's not hanging with Luffy, and he gets mostly As. Works at Franky's mechanic shop on the weekends, pretends not to know he's scrapping cars even though he's participated in many other crimes.

Luffy -> Group home raised with visitations from his military grandpa before he dipped like his brothers. Dodges the truancy officer more than the cops. Genuinely a gang leader but he doesn't see it that way, cause he's just having fun with his friends and taking care of his neighborhood.

Zoro -> Latchkey kid who used to loiter around the dojo on his block, even after the owner's kid died suddenly. Started hustling street fights for cash after being served an eviction notice, won a fight against the wrong guy and got picked up for aggravated assault.

Good Fortune -> When she risks her life, I'll be there to guard her. He's my sword, but he's gentle with me.

Art of War -> She understands me on an innate level. I will steady his course and steer him towards happiness.

We Rotten Few -> There's nothing I wouldn't do for her. In a crowded room, I look for him.

I think Nami has a begrudging appreciation for the fact that Zoro is a fucking catch, and this thing he's got going on with Sanji is honestly not that surprising.

Like, does she bully Zoro constantly? Yes, he's a gross man who thinks it's fine to continue to wear bloody clothes if they're black, and is exclusively attracted to bitches who have a good chance of smacking him around.

That doesn't change the fact that he's gorgeous with a personality just as strong as his looks, something that vexes Nami daily. Really, if she wasn't exclusively into women and gullible men with fat wallets, he'd be high on her list.

She understands Sanji in that aspect, even if she thinks it's cringe/worrisome. Imagine you get freed from turbo malpractice prison and one of the first people you meet is some fucking stoic stud who is a stereotype bad boy with a soft heart. Shotgun blast. Blew Sanji’s shit smooth off.

Can I tell you a secret? When I first started shipping frobin I thought Robin's entire attraction to Franky was because he is freaked out and easily customizable, and she can make her body parts (ANY part) appear out of thin air wherever tf she wants. Surely these two enthusiastically weird people are having sex in strange and unusual ways. Surely, right?
