âCurious that being your first question but understandable.â All For One turned on the heals of tailored black shoes.Â
âI want a future for men like Tomura and men like you young man are not seen as outcast, who are given free reign to slink out of the shadows and be the ones on top for once. Not because youâre the strongest but because you are a human being who deserves to be treated with respect. Monsters they may call us but it was by their hands that we were created, them who molded us into the beast they title us as. A world were we are in the light of day and taking back what is ours.â
âDestroying their facade and laying the world out bare for all to see. To drag those men and woman who made us into the light and show them for who they really are. My endgame is a paradise, one where all stand side by side unafraid an independent of the shackles this society has put upon our persons.â
âWe donât need Heroes an itâs time for the public to see that for themselves. I come from an era where superheroes were just a comic in a paper. Back before the world was rotten. Iâm oldâŚso very old. Alas, the more they Heroes are seen for what they really are, the more they will understand that we arenât the real villains. Of course it will take time, this want is a bloody one.â
â People will die for they do not respect change without a fight. But we must do what we must in order for a better day.âÂ
The dark one cocked his head some.Â
âDonât you have people whoâve been shoved away into the dark for not fitting the standards of our society? Someone you wish the world too know, who deserves it more so than those in front of the cameras? Arenât there stories you hunger to tell to those who turn you a deaf ear? What I will build will make sure they are never cast out into the shadows againâŚfor any of us.â
âThe one you call Twice. Heâs a good man with a good heart who was cast a bad lot. Heâs mentally unstable an yet the world seeâs him as nothing but trash. The girl, Toga. Because her Quirk isnât like the fancy ones people wish to have she too was cast aside, called a freak. YouâŚwell I could write a whole book on why you donât fit in but I digress, my point made. You have the rare opportunity to right this wrong. Seize it.â
Perhaps it was odd that his first question was the endgame. But he wanted to know what the goal of this man was if it was something that would hold up with his own. He didnât want to just burn the world down and leave it a husk. He did want to see society continue on, just in a way that made sense.
It seemed as of All for One was a talker, which was just fine, considering Dabi really was not. He listened attentively, not wanting to miss a word, as it would help him understand what the goal of the League actually was. Shigaraki was in charge, and All for One was claiming to do whatever Shigaraki wanted, but he wasnât sure that was the case at all. Undoubtedly, this man was pulling strings from the shadows, pushing the boy in a direction he wanted him to go. Dabi didnât much care, but that meant that he had to understand the plan that All for One was putting in motion.
âIâd prefer if you didnât write that book.â A smart comment coming from the young man, but one that was meant to show he was paying attention. All for One knew his past inside and out, which wasnât surprising, but that didnât mean he wanted it thrown in his face.Â
Blue eyes regarded the elder carefully, his hands remaining in his pockets as if they were safer there. The plan sounded like everything Dabi wanted. He wanted his revenge, Endeavour seen as the monster he was. This was certainly a way to do it. To be honest, Dabi wasnât all that picky about how that bastard met his end, he just wanted it done. And he wanted the world to know that he wasnât a Hero at all, no matter what he might have said or done. No man who could do those sorts of things to his children could be a Hero.
âThe Nomu are obviously the infantry. Footsoldiers.â Dabi was moving on to another question, obviously quite fine with the goals lined out by All for One. He had always been behind the vision of Stain, and what All for One had said lined up pretty well. So Dabi intended to work with the man to get what he wanted out of it, just as All for One was planning to work with him to get what he wanted. A mutually beneficial partnership, it seemed.
âBut what is in the tube behind you? Itâs nothing like the other Nomu.â There was a quick twitch of his head in the direction of what he was speaking of, curiosity burning in those blue eyes. Yes, his demeanor and attitude might sometimes give off the idea that Dabi just didnât care about anything, but that couldnât be further from the truth. Dabi did care, he cared deeply. He was a curious young man, only hiding that from the world so his motives werenât at all discernable.Â
