Han’i was much much bigger than Patch, that much was clear, and unlike her small house in the middle of nowhere, there were places for Yang to walk to without much effort.

All in all she really really loved the city.

Walking on top of a tall wall, which took little effort for Yang to get on, Yang walked down the street. This place was amazing and she was really glad her agency moved her out there. Sure she missed her father and sister back on Patch, but man was this place awesome.

Suddenly feeling nothing beneath the foot she just put all weight on, Yang fell off of the wall. Closing her purple eyes she braced herself for impact. Of course when her body hit something it didn’t hurt. Opening her eyes she noticed a male looking at her. Did he catch her. Taking in what he was wearing she smiled.

“Thanks for catching me officer cutie~. Hope you don’t mind I dropped in.”

The cyborg did not expect to be called “cutie”, however.

Genos stared at the blonde quizzically, eyebrows slightly knitted together in confusion. Back home, he received dozens of letters gushing over his appearance and heroic abilities, but he had never really been directly approached by someone. Not like this, anyway.

Wading through the dirty brown water as fast as he could, Genos kept his eyes peeled for any people that might be in trouble. He had expected heavy rain, yes, but a flash flood? It was something he had learned about, but never experienced.

People around him were wandering around aimlessly, confused and scared and waist high in murky water. Some had made makeshift boats to keep afloat, but many were simply clinging onto anything they could, such a tree branches or planks of wood. 

Well… not quite his boat, just one that had rammed him and nearly dragged him underwater. Boarding it was only a preventative measure to ensure that nobody else would suffer the same fate.  And, to be fair, it was working. Despite the boat’s single oar and the steadily increasing pull, Ken'ya was managing to dodge the multitude of civilians in his path.

When he reached the now-capsized boat, the person that had fallen off was struggling to find something to hold onto. He was sopping wet and spitting water, but he seemed capable enough to keep his head afloat, if only for a few moments at a time.

He reached out to grab the stranger by the waist, pulling him above the water’s surface and closer to the upside-down boat. While he seemed rather bewildered (being caught in a flash flood did that to some), the stranger didn’t appear to be severely injured anywhere.

“...Ah, well, in a nutshell, it’s about how you stay warm,” he patiently explains. “Humans, reptiles, dogs and even cyborgs need to maintain a certain temperature to survive.”

He nodded, deciding to ignore Jyushimatsu’s odd actions. They didn’t seem to be hurting either of them, after all.

 Practically expecting the delivery guy at this time, Todomatsu groaned as he placed his laptop on the sofa and made his way to the door. “Coming, Tegami-san~ This is the fifth time this week Karamatsu nii-san’s got a package–”

 Wait. Just as Todomatsu opened the door, he heard the weird looking person(?) had called out his name. “That’s me… But, I don’t remember ordering anything. Are you sure it’s not for Karamatsu Matsuno?” It was really fishy indeed.

Looking back to the label on the package again, Genos narrowed his eyes. He hadn’t been mistaken; it was very clearly labeled “Todomatsu Matsuno” right above the address. Reading it twice for good measure, the cyborg shook his head before turning towards Todomatsu again.

“As far as I’m concerned, no,” he replied, noting the other male’s confusion. He gave him the package, shrugging his shoulders slightly. “It is indeed, supposed to be for you.”
