A Star

I was really hyped for Tower of God’s anime adaptation but I hate to say I was disappointed. The one thing that made me really happy though was the art direction (those lines!!).

gabrielvincent’s Tangela (which looks like pasta); bibsrondon’s Snorlax and vincentjachimovski’s Mr.Mime and Gastly!

Loved doing this batch. These sprites and concepts are so fun and had to figure out how to draw Gastly’s dithered pixels in this style. Hope it payed out!

Hey guys! Came back with a special one today.

A few weeks ago I posted this series on Reddit and it created a bit of buzz. Through that, the awesome jableux made a large donation and asked me to draw Gyarados. He was quite unsure of what colours I should use: he wanted red the most, but was afraid it was going to let people who prefer the original blue down.

Had a blast doing these over the days and the set is finally complete. With their original colors and inspired by their Red/Blue sprites, we got:

In this batch we have: - luannsilva’s Raichu! - ninfalibata’s Ponyta! - themismayo’s Persian! - takatsubasa’s Charizard!

The palletes in most of them were quite a challenge but man they were fun.
