Boundaries

No NFSW asks. Otherwise, my ask box is open for: questions, throwing art at me, asking me something about my characters, for a scenario, to roleplay, or anything of the sort.

You may only DM me if you are a mutual, or if you'd like to ask about a roleplay you were thinking of doing. If you are not of these categories, I would prefer asks.

Do NOT DM or send in an ask if you are asking for a commission or donation. I do NOT have commissions set up, and I am legally a minor with no money to give. So if this is you, piss off. This also goes for commenting on my posts. I've had to clear up ONE TOO MANY bot comments lately, and it is getting nothing short of annoying.

Basic DNI criteria

I'm sensitive at times, so be respectful. Don't get mad at me if I have a difficult time understanding or processing something, PLEASE. I have ASD and oftentimes I need extra clarity.

Religious extremists and toxic atheists DNI. Just know; I'm a hellenic polytheist (and proudly so), so if you're going to pop onto my blog just to hate... Don't. Please, for the love of Phoebus, don't.

I reserve the right to block freely, for several reasons. If someone asks me for a donation even though I've stated I can't donate, if someone's trying to scam me or another person, if someone's overall fishy, if someone oversteps my boundaries etc. etc.

Characters

Before you ask, yes, indeed, I have OCs. And I roleplay as them specifically on their blogs, and not here. Find them below. One of them is my persona, and the other is a phoenivillian demon (a species I made myself). Their stories are STILL in development, but I have the worldbuilding set in stone; available in the posts/websites linked in both Star's and Uzi's intros.

More boundaries are listed there, which are roleplay-based. Do check them, if you'd like to roleplay with me sometime. Also, most of my fandoms are listed there.

"Yumeships"

For a while now, I've had characters that I feel somewhat connected to, characters I wonder what it would be like to meet. Recently, thanks to Jayden Timesly, I found a word for it. I'm still kind of in de nile, but less than I was a few weeks ago.

All of the below yumes are familial/platonic.

Malevolent: John Doe, maybe Arthur Lester. The Manager??

The Magnus Archives: Peter Lukas, Elias Bouchard. Martin Blackwood, Jonathan Sims?? Also considering a roleplay I once did with @/michael-the-distortion-official, and also how much I might relate to him, maybe Michael too.

Extra: Elliott (Stardew Valley), Hastur (aka The King in Yellow).

I don't really fw the non-sharing/selective yumeshipper stuff. I don't go by any of those labels, however I still respect people who do. Because of that, I'm not going to block anyone who has the same yume(s) as me. Genuinely, y'all can go wild.

I like how they were exactly 9 jokes. I had said, at the beginning, that Hermes would love that I'm doing this...and now, Thalia (the muse of comedy) came to mind. Which brings me to the 9 muses! That's a perfect number to end a competition centered around creativity and jokes on.

And now, to grade them! The grading system: (a) how funny the joke is, (b) how easy it is to understand, (c) how easy it is to share it. These will be graded in my opinion, so they may not be accurate---just know, ALL the jokes I received made me laugh (especially once I understood them). They were all awesome!

Star shifted slightly and eventually woke up. She blinked a few times, rubbed her eyes and turned on her side (wow that rhymes), only to be face-to-face with Peter.

"Oh. Hi."

"Hello, Star."

"I...I fell asleep, didn't I?"

[insert disappointed Madeline expression]

"Indeed."

"...hhh, I knew I would. Why didn't you stop me or at the very least wake me up??"

"You looked peaceful for once. You can't blame me, now, can you?"

"Ugh, fair enough. I forgive you."

She sat up on the bed, looking at Peter.

"Were you seriously waiting here the whole time?"

"Would you have preferred to wake up to some place you've never seen before alone?"

"...No."

"Exactly."

"Wait. Speaking of. Since when did you have a room in the lighthouse?"

"Since always. I've just never shown you it. It's one of the few places I can actually get some alone time."

"Mmh, fair enough."

She pushed herself off the bed and stood up.

"I...think I should head back to the Institute. Maybe say hi to the others."

Peter nodded. The girl closed her eyes and clenched her fists. C'mon. Imagine the exit, imagine the Institute... He waited, to see if she was actually able to pull this off. She opened her eyes and, shocker, she was still standing here.

"Seriously?"

He stood, walking over to her.

"Here. Let me help you." He wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Getting out of this place is always more difficult than coming in."

He closed his eyes and focused. Soon, the pair felt the fog wrap around them, transporting them away from the Lonely. Then it dissipated and, when they opened their eyes, they were now standing in the halls of the Institute.

"Here we are."

"Thanks."

"Anytime. And, remember; if you ever need a break from the world, you're always welcome to head to the Lonely. Just let me know before you do, though."

"Noted."

"I'll be going then. Tell Elias I said hi, hm?"

"I will-- oh. As if he doesn't already know."

Peter chuckled.

"Well. Goodbye, Star."

"Adios."

The fog appeared once again, and he walked into it. Moments later, both he and the fog were gone. Star walked through the hallway of the Institute, heading down to Archives. Maybe I'll see Mar-

Her thoughts got interrupted as she heard, you guessed it, Martin greeting her.

"Star! It's so good to see you again!"

As soon as she got off the last step of the stairs, she practically threw herself at him, arms open wide. He, of course, caught her, wrapping his arms around her too.

"I missed you so much."

She tightened her grip around him, but soon released the hug.

"How have you been?"

"Decent, mostly. As you probably heard, I now have a god on my side."

"So I've heard. How'd you manage that?"

"He just...appeared one day. After I started dabbling in hellenic polytheism. Didn't think he would show up like that."

"And then you started writing poetry," he drawled.

"Oh! Jon told you about that then--"

She cut herself off when she heard someone approaching.

"Well, well, well, look who it is!"

"TIM!!!"

She ran over to him, also hugging him. He briefly hugged her and patted her on the back, then released the hug.

"How've you been, squirrel?"

"Can we. NOT reference that?"

"No." <3

"Okay, okay. Anyway. Uhh.........."

Sasha came into view too! Hurrah!

"SASHAAAA!!!! Hii!" She waved rapidly to her.

"Hey, Star! Glad you've come back."

"Yeahhh, I couldn't stay away from y'all, or this universe for that matter, forever. I had to make a return eventually."

"That I can understand."

Then she noticed that someone was missing.

"Oh, also," she began, looking around, "where's Jon?"

"Currently busy recording a statement," Martin answered. "He'll return eventually, so don't worry."

"Mmkay, fair enough." A pause. "So, who's up for a bit of a break? Maybe we could chat, catch up on everything... I'm sure I missed a lot."
